Menu with a number of typical Schwäbisch specialities which were delicious. Service excellent too and very good value.

We stop here for lunch and we decide to go there. The restaurant is simple but clean and the food well prepared. If you decide to stop at Triberg, go there and enjoy the food. Waitresses will always take care of you! Absolutely recommended! Ver carta

Rustikale, typische Wirtschaft mit sehr gutem Essen. Die Portionen sind riesig zu wirklich guten Preisen. Die Bedienung war bei uns nicht sehr häufig am Tisch und das Ambiente wirkt auf mich etwas dunkel. Trotzdem sind alle sehr nett gewesen. Das Bild zeigt einen Bauernteller.

We ate here twice during our visit and both times got excellent service and good meals. The pork scollops and the schnitzel were both top notch, the noodles weren't quite to my wife's liking but the steak was cooked perfectly. All round we enjoyed the Location, the food and the service

We were on the hunt for a clock and stopped in for lunch - simply wonderful! We had a large salad to start that was as beautiful to look at as it was to eat. Then we each had different things but my dumplings with sautéed onion and potato salad were perfect - maybe one of the best things I had on our entire trip. Everyone enjoyed their choices. We brought two English-only speaking friends with us to dine in the restaurant. When we asked for English menus for our friends, the waitress became surly. From this point forward getting service was like pulling a tooth. We ordered salads that were just average. In fact, we had to remind the waitress of a missing meal. Getting the bill was equally challenging. We are annual visitors to the area. We will not in this restaurant again.

Get an English menu and pick everything. It was a simple and wonderful menu. We sat outside in between a few well behaved doors. Our waitress was so friendly. Our little side salad was packed with hidden vegetables. The side salad was memorable. The cheese and cold cut platters were big enough for a meal. My schnitzel was floating on a mountain of fries. The Scwabish specialties were really great. No room for dessert because I picked another cold beer instead.

I stopped in here for a much desired dinner after a long day on the road. I was hoping to find something traditional, and found a matron who received me equally well in German and English. She was truly pleasant, and attentive. It was clear she ran the front end of the restaurant. I went with a regional Swabian dish, the maltauschen. Every restaurant does their own version of this Germanic ravioli, so you can never count on getting the same one twice. In this case, it was pork mixed in with cheese and herbs, stuffed inside the ravioli. The cheese dominated the flavor palate, while the herbs added some note of savoriness, but the pork was rather lost, overall. So while I have had better malta... Ver carta
