"Location The monastery town Lorsch celebrated its 1250th anniversary this year. The small but fine menu includes German carving glory and pasta, soups, salads but also very precise prepared specialties such as fish dishes. Daily dishes are placed on a large slate board in front of the guest. All appetizers come freshly attractive to the table and are a pleasure. Tastefully we are not disappointed here. The baked mushrooms with herbal butter and salad bouquet (6,90€ are relocated with fruity mango and pineapple. The mushrooms are fried and nutty in taste. After the grilled Peperonis (5,10€ you will be addicted. With the fragrant bunny, with a little chilli oil, nothing seems unpleasant, but rather emphasizes the taste. White bread is served for this – unfortunately not fresh in the day. The supplemental salads consisting of carrot strips, red and white cabbage salad, Lollo Rosso and field salad and were somewhat inexorable. The pepper sauce also disappointed here. The pepper was barely tasted and the sauce does not support the desired taste of the whole dish. The Pommes didn't keep the set standard completely, but had gotten a little too soft. Because the portions were still to be handled, there is still enough room for a dessert. The sweet vanilla ice cream, with unfortunately only lukewarm raspberries (5.50€ and also the piping with hot cherries on vanilla ice cream and creamy vanilla sauce (6.80€ convinced quite. Schönes Ambiente mit mediterraner Küche. Für jeden Geschmack ist etwas dabei. Freundliche und zuvorkommende Bedienung, besonders empfehlenswert ist für kleine Gruppen das Kellergewölbe.

5 Sterne. Super Essen tolles Ambiente. Bedienung ist sehr zuvorkommend. Das Essen ist ein Gedicht. Bei schönem Wetter im Freien sitzen direkt vorm schönen Kloster und die vielen Eiscafees.immer wieder gern Ver carta

Bedienung sehr nett und aufmerksam. Essen sehr lecker (zweimal schon da und jedesmal ein Genuss). Ambiente sehr schön, toller Gastraum, Gewölbekeller Klasse und draußen sitzt man mit Blick aufs Alte Rathaus. Preis/Leistung stimmt hier auch!

Mit einer Gruppe von 25 Personen auf einer kunsthistorischen Reise sind wir mit dem Touristenbus nach Lorsch gekommen. Da wir noch eine Führung auf dem Klosterareal hatten, waren wir auf einen schnellen Service angewiesen gewesen. Facit: Unkomplizierte Bestellung und Reservation. Nachdem heute, am Montag, viele Restaurants in Lorsch geschlossen hatten, bin ich hier gelandet. Eigentlich ist es ein gemütliches Wirtshaus in zentraler Lage und der Service ist sehr gut. Das Essen hat mich allerdings etwas enttäuscht. Nachdem ich einen Salat mit Champignons als Vorspeise bestellt hatte, kam unmittelbar danach ein zweiter Salat als Beilage zum bestellten Kalbskotelett. Hier hätte ich mir zuvor einen Hinweis gewünscht. Das Kalbskoteletts war gut zubereitet, die Bratkartoffeln allerdings ziemlich fett und etwas angebrannt und das Gemüse lieblos gegrillt und dann auch ziemlich in Fett gebadet. Der empfohlene offene Rotwein aus Kroatien war allerdings gut. Ver carta

Ins Weiße Kreuz in Lorsch gehe ich immer wieder gerne. Sehr freundliche und zuvorkommende Bedienung, die sich auch gerne die Zeit nimmt etwas zu essen oder einen bestimmten Wein zu empfehlen. Ich wurde hier noch nie enttäuscht, das Essen war immer ausgezeichnet.Mitte Januar haben wir eine Geburtstagsfeier im Gewölbekeller mit 30 Leuten gehabt. Der Abennd war perfekt organisiert. Die Bedienung war sehr aufmerksam und zu allen Gäsen freundlich und zuvorkommend. Es ist nicht selbstverständlich, dass in einem Lokal 30 Gäste nahezu zeitlich ihr Essen bekommen. Für die Organisation der Feier wurden wir einige Zeit vor dem Termin sogar zu einer kleinen Weinprobe eingeladen. Ich würde jederzeit wied...

Ich schreibe diese Bewertung nachdem ich gestern nun zum vierten Mal in diesem Gasthaus schlechte Erfahrungen gemacht habe.Unser erster Besuch war im Rahmen des Lorscher Frühlingsmarkts im Jahr der Eröffnung des Restaurants unter dieser Leitung. Es war voll, aber auch ausreichend Personal vorhanden, Das hat sich aber lieber unterhalten als uns zu bedienen. So warteten wir 45 Minuten auf eine Gulaschsuppe, die allerdings lecker war, und anschließend nochmal 30 Minuten auf die Rechnung.
