"I absolutely loved this charming little restaurant! The homemade traditional food was delicious, and the desserts were amazing. The staff were very friendly and polite, and you could tell they take pride in their work. It truly is a hidden gem. I will definitely be coming back and recommending this place to my family and friends. A big thank you to the staff, they have done a fantastic job. I especially enjoyed the homemade preserves and honey. The service, food quality, and atmosphere all get a perfect score of 5. The price per person for a meal is between £10-20. I had a wonderful lunch experience here. Can't wait to come back!"

"I often find eating out a disappointment. Have been to The Warren several times. Lovely ambiance. Simple decor and a good ecological ethic. It is always well subscribed with a nice mix of clientele. Meals always freshly and carefully prepared, with tasty ingredients, and well-presented. The only reason I didn 't give five stars is that it is not exclusively vegetarian (which I would prefer) but it offers a good choice for vegetarians and vegans. So often, the vegan/vegetarian options, in so-called 'mainstream ' hostelries, are boring, rather grudging and smack of tokenism. Even in a restaurant that boasts 'home-cooking ', I often get the feeling that this refers to the meat/fish-based core of the menu and the veggie meals look like they 're bought in. Never get that impression in The Warren."

"Our go-to Indian in Carmarthen. Seats about 60. Been there for years. VERY (honestly sometimes a bit TOO quick service. Free popadoms arrive before you have even sat at your table normally! Food is good, tasty and not over heavy/thick with the sauce and the portions are of a decent size. Prices are around the general norm these days. So overall a very decent restaurant, with the only downsides in my option the sometimes over-fast food delivery and the sometimes clouds of smoke that can pervade the restaurant (like a light fog! from the hot skillet dishes, however don’t let those two points stop you from eating at this decent restaurant. Recommend."

"Visited with my wife for a Sunday evening dinner. Still plenty of diners do on Sunday evening that’s got to be a good sign. Really like the style and atmosphere of the place. All the staff were very friendly and competent. Now the highlight the food! To start I had the crab dressed in mayonnaise with mango and my wife had the duck and orange pate both absolutely delicious. My wife had roast chicken with dauphinois potatoes for her main and thoroughly enjoyed it, I had fillet cooked perfect medium rare, wonderfully seasoned and caramelised on the outside with triple cooked chips (appear to be real homemade ones not frozen) and a blue cheese butter and the flavour in that steak was incredible. My wife had the salted caramel and Biscoff sundae for dessert (sublime) and I had a (perfect) French coffee with lovely homemade petit fours the white chocolate fudge is easily one of the nicest things I’ve tasted. We had a couple of bottles of superb Pinot noir with the meal and the wine list looks to be very thoughtfully curated."
