Cosy atmosphere in beer garden. Kellner is on Zack and understands his craft. Eat sharp.

When in Raunheim we always make it a point to go to this restaurant for our favorite Schnitzel and beer. They have a great salad bar and food and service is great aside from being very affordable.

Sehr freundlicher Service und ein sehr schönes Ambiente. Das Essen war sehr lecker und reichlich. Schön auch, dass wir uns an der Salatbar selbst unseren Salat zusammenstellen konnten. Wir waren zu viert. Das war sicher nicht unser letztes Mal, dass wir dort waren. Ver carta

We walked here from the Mecure Airport hotel not expecting much, but had one of the best meals we had in Germany. A great salad bar, nice beer, and the option of smaller portions for seniors, which was just what was needed after some of the huge meals we had had recently.

Very delicious food with good value for money. Operation Top. A cellar who understands something about his craftsmanship, which is rarely found today. Cosy ambience in the attic. The signs could be even better. If there is a chance, I would visit the restaurant again and recommend it.

Not the easiest to find if you don't know the area. In case you can't find it, it's next the the "West" shopping centre behind Baumarkt. Lots of typically German dishes - and great-tasting too! Can be a little pricey if you get carried away, but they often have tables available and you don't necessarily need to book. If you're in the area, give it a try. You won't be disappointed! We stopped at the Holzwurm for lunch! You would never think that there is such a nice and cozy restaurant in the sports club.They have a nice outside area downstairs and you even can sit on the two balconies. The inside is very nice as well. We enjoyed the lunch. The food was very delicious and the portion were quite big! Service was very attentive and friendly.If you like Croatian German food you will love it there.

We were staying in a nearby hotel, flying out of FRA the next afternoon. The hotel restaurant wasn't attractive so we walked a couple of blocks to Zum Holzwurm. We didn't expect much but were pleasantly surprised. We had an excellent dinner. Very hot that day so we ate outside on the 2nd floor deck - lovely breeze and we watched a spectacular sunset.My husband had goulash soup - how he could eat it in that heat I don't know but he did and enjoyed it. It was schnitzel Tuesday - a choice of a bunch schnitzels with different sauces for less than 10 euros. Mine was excellent. Good salad bar. Good beer and cold by German standards..

It's not easy to find if you are new in area, but no worries, Google it. Thanks to my Croatian friend Mladen Celezic for telling us about it. We went there in a small group of friends. It's a beautiful restaurant. You can sit inside the restaurant or in outer terrace or in beer garden. They have a large screen TV for sports events. If you're going on a match evening, book your table in advance.They have a huge menu with lot of cuisines. You can opt for smaller portions also but I promise you won't. Choose your salad from their fresh salad bar. Soups, starters, desserts everything has a great taste & flavor. You will visit this place again & again.Service was excellent. I couldn't understand...
