Weinstube Zum Lamm - Carta

One of the few weinstube in Oberwesel. Laid back atmosphere. 2-3 communal tables. A weak beer on tap as well as some wines. Reasonable prices.

By far one of the best places I've been in Germany for an authentic German feel. Food was great and beer and wine flowed! Service was excellent!

good food for a very good price. carving with potato salad 9.5€. bottle riesling from own production to take away 5€. very popular with local, after 6 o'clock everything recovered, very difficult then to find a place.

Inconspicuously in waitress. It looks like you got into the living of these wine farmers. There's actually only three big tables where you're mounting the other guests. Very traditional, regional dishes, but in a way you'd eat them at a dutiful farmer's house. Very good. Nice service. Big duital portions and very common of prize. A real experience!

We were there for wine tasting by appointment, and a light snack while doing so. It took an hour to get a plate with Camembert and a brotchen. The wine we tasted was excellent so we left with 12 bottles. While we sat there (2.5 hours total) we noticed the traditional fare for the region and wished we had come to eat a meal. Zuerst einmal muss ich mich entschuldigen.....Normalerweise gibt es immer Fotos aber die haben wir aufgrund des leckeren Essens einfach vergessen. Wir waren für 2 Nächte in Oberwesel und sind 2mal hier gewesen. Das Lokal ist ungemütlich, die Besitzer sehr charmant und das Essen hätte meine Oma nicht besser kochen können. Hier wird wirklich noch mit Liebe und guten Zutaten gekocht. Die Rindssuppe mit Mark Klößchen...ein Traum. Die Rinderroulade ein Traum, der selbstgemachte Kartoffelbrei ein Traum, der Salat frisch und das Dressing toll. Dazu einen roten FrühBurgunder......besser kann man einen Abend fast nicht verbringen.

we had chosen this locally due to the good critikens for the conclusion of an extended weekend in oberwesel. After we had entered the gastronomy and had expressed the desire for eating, we were expelled to the next room. there was already a table with two people, with two other guests shortly after. this was the menu. we were asked only for drinks which were then brought to us without comment. after about another 15 minutes had passed without a service coming, we went to the gaststube to pay. on our note that we really would have liked to have eaten something, we received the snippy answer: "then they had to say something." here is the guest not king, but the service has to run behind. good...

We were hungry and looking around and happened upon this place in an alley. Their tables were all reserved but they very nicely made room for us. The place was packed with locals (not tourists) which we took to be a good sign. Everyone in the cozy little dining room seemed to be having a great time. The wine and beer were local, delicious and plentiful. The dinner salad was really special, with little spoonfuls of different pickled veggies along with the usual fresh mixed green salad. My schnitzel with mushrooms was the best I had in Germany. Our waiter served us peach schnapps on the house to finish the meal. All of this for an extremely reasonable price.
