Atmosphere, good food and friendly staff. A good place to spend time in a quiet area. Would definitely go again!

We were adults and kids, we had normal meal with soft drinks but the bill looked like we had oysters and champagne. No complaint about the food, we ordered cordon blue and schnitzel which tested good

We spent our first evening at this restaurant and it was the best dinner in the whole week. We loved their wine (Spätburgunder lieblich) and enjoyed the soup, "Schweinemedallions in Pfeffersauce", "Geschnetzeltes mit Spätzle". The prices are really moderate compared to other restaurants in Meersburg

We also had a delicious dinner the night before in their restaurant which is on the ground floor. The best Vienner schnitzel we ever tasted which was both soft on the inside and crispy on the outside and delicious platter of three fish from the lake. What an amazing breakfast buffet! I wish we stayed more days just to be able to try all the cold meats, cheeses, salmon, cold salads, freshly baked breads. The room was very clean. The hotel is in the pedestrian zone, so we parked 5 minutes away in the town's paid parking lot near where the ferry comes in.

We were in Meersburg one evening and none of the existing TripAdvisor places inspired us. Italian food places were 2 a penny but we had left Italy 2 days before and really wanted something more local! So it was pot luck here which is one street back from the "See" and we were very happy with the choice. Friendly welcome, dog, friendly, most diners seemed to be German although our table companions turned out to be Argentinian. Good local wine served by the glass. My pork steak with mushrooms and noodles was excellent. So good we suggested it should be added to TripAdvisor! Ver carta
