"Situated in the old part of Meersburg don't mess with the staff. Do you have an English menu.... Nien, German only. Do you have wifi, nien! Amazingly the waitress spoke English and assisted in translation. Food choice was good but we settled for Pork Snitzel with pepper sauce which was good but not exceptional.A bit stiff as far as ambience was concerned and considering the resort of Meersburg is closed up in Jan this venue was at least open.Lighten up and be excited would be my call when a customer walks in considering that we had the entire restaurant to ourselves."

A very nice traditional German restaurant with friendly and attentive service. Particularly good was the pork stripes in cream sauce with spätzle. There's also a good wine list which isn't overpriced.

I had a schnitzel and my friend asparagus.Everything was good.And the wine was also good.The location is also great, since it is right by the promenade and near the entry to the city. After dinner you can walk a little bit looking to the lake. Ver carta

Food, atmosphere, service, wine - everything excellent!!!! Our waiter spoke multiple languages and was very friendly and polite. The ambience of this restaurant can almost not be surpassed - and step out on their outside dining deck and get a breathtaking view of Lake Constance!

Got a seat on the terrace and had the Winzerbraten, it positively melted in the mouth, came with a dressed salad all washed down with a cold weissbugunder which itself ticked all the boxes - crisp and fresh. Would cheerfully pay a repeat visit. Prices very fair considering the situation and competition.

We ate here on our first evening in Meersburg. I'm surprised that this restaurant is ranked as the #2 in Meersburg as the food is very average. I had a Schnitzel which was ok but nothing to rave about. The service was good and the restaurant is quite nice to sit in. There's much nicer places in Meersburg so if you're only there for a short period of time I'd go elsewhere. Ver carta

We had a lunch there on a busy Saturday. Most of the people were sitting on the terrace, we chose to sit inside. I ordered grilled chicken breast with a huge fresh salad and baguette. My boyfriend ordered grilled pork with ementaler cheese topping, pommes and salad. Grilled food was excellent, the portions were just right, not too huge and not too small. The service was fast and correct. Would definitely recommend and visit another time.

Dinner here proved to be our favorite during a week of touring the Bodensee. The atmosphere and decor is classic south German, and the menu reflects the local taste very well. Wine selections were excellent, and the food menu diverse. While little English was spoken, there is an English menu available for those who desire one. Food was superb, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. If you are on the north shore of Lake Constance, the Winzerstuben is well worth a visit.
