"We had booked a Christmas Eve meal for two €130 without drinks). When we unpacked our starters and main courses we were first surprised by the quantity, the impression of having a dinner...but let 's admit, gourmet restaurant, that can perhaps explain the thing, but it must be exceptionally good we thought. My starter, fine scallop tart a single scallop cut into a carpaccio) on a leek fondue. All accompanied by a sauce...the pie was okay, but the sauce....a thousand times too loaded with butter...disgusting. The other starter, a shrimp, avocado, mango aspic, the title announces a small explosion of taste....but nothing...bland, absolutely no taste....three very small pieces of shrimp, which I challenge me to find in the photo and I am still looking for the particularly sweet taste of a good mango. The hot dishes....lamb loin, with small potatoes and a bundle of green beans I hesitated to put an S for bean). The loin, absolutely not seasoned, the stuffing....I don 't even talk about it, I didn 't finish my plate because it was so bad. Accompanied by a decent sauce but too fatty. And the bundle!!... two, sorry three green beans which were fighting a duel with another vegetable see photos)... And my beans which were not completely cooked still hard) and again zero seasoning. It wouldn 't have cost much to sauté them with a little duck fat, a few herbs, and salt and pepper. The second dish, capon ballotine, again without any taste, seasoning absent. Way overcooked, dry as hell, and the foie gras was not cooked with a hint of port or cognac or anything else, not seasoned either....and what can we say about the potato mille leaf with its layer of sliced mushrooms? Again without seasoning, and strips of PDT, still hard. The only thing correct in this dish...the sauce...plate not finished there too! Then assortment of cheeses....ok, if we exceed 1 cheese, we can use the plural. So three different cheeses, one slice per person...ok, so that 's an assortment. And for dessert, we asked for a log for 2 people....I 'll let you judge the size of this log for two people...then maybe it 's because I have big hands...And in terms of taste....good...fair. Here 's our Christmas meal! A real disappointment and value for money. The day before we had eaten in a restaurant in Amiens l 'Osmoz), we had 76€ for two with starter-main course and main course dessert and two glasses of wine, and the value for money was unrivaled, we enjoyed ourselves . As a trained chef, I agree that a gourmet restaurant serves small, delicate portions, but if you want to make large quantities and takeaway for events such as Christmas Eve or others, they will have for us) missed the boat on quality and taste....if you don 't know how to cater, stick to room service. You cannot decently offer this catering option, at these prices, for this quality....it is not possible, it is not honest. Huge disappointment considering the price paid and the pleasure totally absent) in eating these dishes..."
