"After much coaxing to come in as we walked in circles lost, went inside. As soon as seated he was not interested off he scooted back to street but only he could take order, give bill take money. All staff were on a knifes edge...if he said jump they would say how high I ordered very simple spaghetti pompadour with a little chilli. He shouted at the chef in Spanish which I understand. Not professional. My husband had a lasagne. My meal arrived with no offer of black pepper or grated parmesan no basil as on menu but parsley!! The lasagne arrived not long before I had finished. We played hunt the meat, I understand lasagne to be meat in layers? There was very little meat just pasta and cheese sauce. I asked to speak to manager Matre De, not likely. He o ly arrived to slap a piece of paper down on table no receipt tray, no finess. I asked him about lack of meat his answer maybe they chose a piece that did not contain much meat ! I asked where my stated basil was, answer it is only a garnish I am sorry but it is a main part of a vegetarian dish. Give the place a very wide berth there are many more deserving Italian no black pepper, grated parmesan and finesse) restaurants very close by."

excellent suppa and pizza. if it is busy, they must wait long. if they are with several people, the main courts are not simultaneously laid on their table.

Very Italian! Friendly, informal and good pizza. I’m veggie so stuck with the Margarita and green salad was exactly as expected, simple and tasty. The chilli oil was also very good. Would recommend for simple rapid dinner.

we ate here with 4 people and we asked for the bill and suddenly they wanted to add additional fee for the service.. We called some locals and they told us that this is not normal and they try to cheat us. after we were facing the owner, they corrected it with the correct order. so note that they cheat tourist!

Been here a couple of times now and it’s great value for money. If you’re looking for fine dining or nouvelle cuisine then give it a miss because it’s good old fashioned simple dishes well cooked and very reasonably priced. The house wine is not...great but there’s a good selection of others if you ask. Some of the reviews on here seem quite harsh but try it for yourself you won’t be disappointed.

We stumbled across this nice looking restaurant in the old town, which claims to be the oldest wood oven pizza in Düsseldorf and thought why not? It wasn't the best idea. The pesto was not homemade and so watery, I could have sworn this was...a cheap mass produced brand of pesto that landed on my plate. My friend ordered the pizza with everything on it and it was small, quite poor quality and the vegetables were so not fresh! The only silver lining was the wine and the atmosphere. But I won't be going back there in a hurry.
