"Believe it or not, this restaurant just saved my life on a chilly, dark autumn night when I was feeling hungry. As a traveler who knows no one in the area, I stumbled upon this place and walked in without a reservation. Thankfully, they had a seat available for me. The dishes they served were not only delicious but also reasonably priced. The curry (dish number 25) was particularly outstanding and truly made my day. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Redcar. Service: Dine-in."

"Tried here on the recommendation of a colleague and already looking forward going back next takeaway night!! The food was beautiful and arrived so hot we had to let it cool down before tucking in (how often can you say that about a takeaway delivery). Portion sizes were excellent making good value for money. Not usually a fan of takeaway chips but these were really nice, not soggy at all and came with a very tasty seasoning. The chicken for the shish kebab was also superb, cooked to perfection and full of flavour. Couldn't recommend Istanbul Grill highly enough"

"We visited here a couple of years ago on holiday and found out that they did vegan fish and chips but only on Thursdays. We were in the area again so wanted to stop by and give them a try; after checking the website again it said they still offered vegan options Thursday Sunday however when we got there we were told this is now only on a weekend and that they needed to update the website. We were disappointed as we had made the trip to redcar especially for this reason as it's not something you can get everywhere. It's great that Seabreeze offers this but it should be something they do everyday to avoid confusion! The food we did have was ok but not sure we will be back again."

"We were on a family holiday and due to last minute plans, couldn't get any hotels in Whitby so stayed in Redcar. Being few days away from home, started missing Indian food so searched for Indian restaurants. Based on reviews chose this restaurant as a closest option to what we wanted to eat.Good ambience, nice staff but our high hopes for good/decent Indian food were shattered. Food portion is very less. Whatever we ordered (daal, rice) quantity was strictly 1 measuring cup literally. We were starving so finished every bit. Ordered one paneer curry for which portion was good but then ridiculously priced. To summarize, do not expect authenticate Indian food or any closer."

"Decided to go out for tea but had the usual problem of where to go been there, nothing on menu I like etc but then remembered The Park Hotel that does a carvery plus a fairly good menu so thought we would give it a...try. On arrival I noticed it had been refurbished since I was last there it looked very smart we got our drinks and went through to the restaurant a friendly waitress soon appeared to take our order the carvery was set out and looked very nice so of us went for the course tea time special a starter or sweet plus a carvery, and one of us went off the main menu choosing sausage and mash. I have to say the main menu is quite good with a good selection pub classics like steak and ale pie (homemade) and fish and chips, different parmo’s, a selection of burgers, steaks and gammon plus chicken enchilada and chicken burrito. For starters we had the veg soup not bad quite tasty one of us swapped the starter for a sweet and went for the chocolate pud and custard which he said was lovely. The carvery I have to say was very good a choice of meats beef, pork and turkey we all went for the beef we were given a generous portion and it was melt in the mouth the veg was all fresh no frozen or tinned there was broccoli, sweed (mashed), carrots, braised onions, roast, boiled and mashed potatoes one thing I liked was they had gravy jugs that you could fill with gravy and take to your table a nice touch. The sausage and mash was also very good so no complaints from any of us. The service from the waitresses was very good and the bill was very reasonable so I will definitely be returning only problem is what to have next from the menu."
