Service ok, goose was quite rare, Had to send back a beer twice as it has gone off, This made the whole thing quite disappointing....

Been here many times but this was the first visit with the new young team.It is just as good which surprised me. Food is excellent and the welcome is warm. A great experience. Shall be back.

This was a return visit having eaten here last year. It is very popular and bookings are essential. We went for a set menu which does seem quite popular in France. The place in under new management but maintains the high standards set by the...previous owners. Food was excellent and we was not rushed. Would highly recommend the place. Ver carta

Very nice experience that we want to share. During a short stay at the neighboring campsite, we came for dinner and lunch a few days apart. The welcome is friendly and the organization is top notch. 2 people only, 1 serving, the other in the kitchen and despite this and the number of customers, no or very little waiting for very tasty dishes. This is a beautiful restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. We opted to eat outside and had lovely views of the river which runs each side. It did get a bit chilly as the night went on but the waiter offered us a fleece to...put on which was very welcome. We opted for the course set menu which provided plenty of choice, I started with the fish skewers which were gorgeous followed by a cod dish which they call fish soup finishing with ice cream. Others in the group had lamb shank and guinea fowl they all said their dishes were beautiful. It offers an extensive menu, the staff are attentive but not in your face and we left feeling we had all enjoyed a fantastic meal in a fantastic restaura...

I was taken to this lovely restaurant by French friends for lunch on the last day of my Dordogne holiday. It was a beautiful late September day and we sat at a table on the flower-bedecked flagstone terrasse at the back of the restaurant. I recently had the opportunity to dine at L'apicius restaurant and I must say it was a good experience. As soon as we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the staff, who were attentive and professional throughout the evening. The restaurant's setting is both elegant and comfortable, creating the perfect atmosphere for an evening with friends or family. The careful decoration and soft lighting add a touch of refinement without being pretentious. As for the menu, it's a real festival of flavors! We have visited Couze et St Front for brief visits over...a number of years and have always enjoyed eating at this restaurant. On our visit last year, we enjoyed our visit so much we booked again a few days later. We dined there today under the new ownership and whilst we enjoyed the food from a limited menu we did not think it lived up to our expectations.
