visited this restaurant with the family of our exchange student when we visited his family after returning to home. the tarte flambee was fabulous and we ordered more. also pot au feu tried, which was also sensational. the service was attentive and very welcoming....A very good restaurant in traditional environment that is worth looking for.

it is always a pleasure to return to miriam, the owner of auberge du pont de la zorn, the asacic pizza is the largest pizza they will ever test in straßburg, and the rest of the menu is also good! the atmosphere is casual...and informal, the waiters are polite and the service is cool. the price is a bit too high, but still I invited you to try it!

beautiful restaurant that reflects the Alsatian interior of the last century, it is simply a cozy place where you feel like home. the owner and the personal still wear the traditional dresses, very elegant. from several places you can see the open fire oven,...or directly in the flawless kitchen. Best experience ever in an Alsacian restaurant. Though it is located outside Strasbourg, at a 20 min's drive north, you won't regret the trip! The food is absolutely delicious, prepared with fresh local products, and the dishes are beautifully dressed. A delight for your eyes,...and an amazing culinary experience. In summer, the terrace is just wonderful.. I am dining there almost once a week now, and the owner, Myriam, is always friendly and welcoming. Can't wait next time! :

This restaurant is the best place to eat high quality traditional Alsacian food, but also more sophisticated meals. I often go in this restaurant with my family and it is always a great moment. If you are looking for an authentic and balanced tarte flambée,...this is the right place that will make you addict... The restaurant is nicely decorated with old Alsacian objects, but also with nice modern patchworks on the walls, which gives a very warm welcoming atmosphere. The place is quite small, but during summer it offers a large outside terrace.

Great location, right next to the small river, ideal, easygoing dinner place. Not to mention the staff, amiable, professional and as an extra their English is perfect. Okay, and what 's a pluma ? Well normally it 's a tough cut of pork, but here it was delicious...and succulent. Don 't miss the tarte flambe, paper thin pie with cheese and cream fresh, made in a wood-fired oven, but all the local classics are great. As far as I could see there wasn 't any vegetarian option, but hey, it 's Alsace... there is salt pork on every corner. Fish was available at least, heavenly, of course. Ver carta

My family and I were visiting the town of Gries, France where my great-grandmother was born. We arrived there in the late afternoon, and there were no restaurants open in that small town. We looked on Trip Advisor and found this special place in a...town nearby. When we arrived, we were asked if we had a reservation, and I wasn't sure they would be able to accommodate us, but we were seated within minutes at a table near the bar and the kitchen. We had a great view of everything going on in the restaurant. The decor was cozy and warm. The hostess was wonderful and explained the whole menu to us in English since our French is very limited. I have been already few times. I came to know this place by a total coincidence...we were starving and looking for a place to eat just before coming back to Luxembourg. When I go to Strasbourg or I have visits from overseas I ALWAYS bring...them here because as I said in the title of this review, it is the BEST restaurant I have ever been. I have been and lived in many countries and believe me, this place is a total gem. Your Alsacienne experience starts since the beginning on. The place is beautifully traditionally decorated, you are welcome by the staff...from the entries to the main dish and dessert...is AMAZING GOOD, fresh food, artisanally done...believe me ANYTHING you order from their...

we are so grateful for sarah in au crocodile that they recommend this place for our last night in Alsace. we started with some of the local (and very cheap weine to go with our appetizer a tarte flambé with mushrooms. before it was served, the cook(? brought us an amuse bouche from a rich mushroom veloute, with mushrooms, roasted chestnuts and some sweet perhaps sweet potato? in any case it was absolutely delicious, and a wonderful opportunity to begin our meal. next, the tarte flambé was impossible to get thin and crisp crust with a light char, with a perfect balance of creamfraiche, lardons, swirling and mushrooms. next my man chose the bouchée as recommended by sarah while I had the venis...
