The dishes are excellent!! special mention for incredible calf ris! at a really great price. Let's not forget the service and good advice for the wine, the dinner was perfect! "Nous avons tel pour réserver le mercredi soir on nous rappelle en nous annonçant que ce sera exceptionnellement fermé ! En plein mois d'août, pas tres sérieux enfin nous reportons au lendemain puisque sommes tj sur Meursault. Decor sympa, service pas à la hauteur pour 10 couverts ! Quant aux plats tout est préparé par avance aucune modification possible notamment sur les 4 entrées 3 comportent du fromage (suis allergique) flan d'escargots dommage les escargots étaient froids. Après le tartare de saumon les couverts ne sont pas changés la serveuse a indiqué qu'ils avaient juste le nombre de couverts heureusement le chef a reagi car plat suivant volaille tres bonne d'ailleurs tendre mais tj pas assez chaud... service beaucoup trop rapide manque de professionnalisme. Donnent l'impression qu'ils ont hâte de finir le service...ne semblent pas investis, inadmissible compte tenu des tarifs appliqués."

"To start a very beautiful room and very nice decoration with a good atmosphere and a very welcoming staff with humour what I find top the choice of the map is certainly not very varied but it goes well with the name of the restaurant and it assures us fresh and unfrozen products. For my part I had taken the snails that were just succulent and my companion had taken a goats. The presentation of the plates was really beautiful and well topped even if it doesn't look, it feels like tasting. To follow me I had taken a calf with the bites that had a perfect cooking to my taste and it was accompanied by a very good purée with an original presentation my companion had taken a sea land accompanied by a polenta that was as delicious and the sauce this bride perfectly and to finish I had chosen a chocolate that is a delicious and mellow marrow accompanied by a ball of ice cream of a fragrance that I did not know but that was very good and To conclude this restaurant is top from the beginning to the end, we have not had a single disappointment and prices are more than affordable given the quality of the products. Thank you very much for this meal that I am not ready to forget"

"Our 5th stay in Beaune and we were recommended this restaurant by the Gite owners.Lovely and Cosy. Has a small private tabled area at the back for small groups/couples but the real experience is up at the counter where you can watch the chef(s) in action. Entertaining and educating. Watch them prepare, cook and present your meal.SERVICEAttentive. Greeted, seated and provided a menu very quickly. Waitress maintained an eye on our wine and water glasses and made sure we were looked after. She was eager to explain all aspects for the set menu and wines.FOODGreat experience watching the chef’s from the 1st instance where they select and prepare ingredients for each dish. Developing the sauces, selecting the condiments and assembling the dishes with care and experience. The lunch was a delight. The dishes were well presented, superbly cooked and a joy to eat.WINEWine by the glass was excellent. We tried 3 different types of the white from dry to sweet. Reasonably priced and enjoyable.My only other observation was that the chef (who I believe is also the owner) often spent time staring into space while waiting for food to complete its cooking ritual and seemed quite distant. I had the feeling he had other things weighing on his mind. Would have been great to have a chat with him to add to the lunch experience. I hope whatever he was thinking about doesn’t stop him from continuing to run La Superb as they serve up a real culinary treat."
