Really nice restaurant/pub the fillet steak was lovely the staff where very friendly and helpful. The manager is a really nice man , the young lady was very helpful and friendly.

Really nice food. Really nice atmosphere. Good value. Had cocktails before eating, 2 starters, 2 mains and 2 drinks for less than £70. Really recommend to anyone, the steak and wild mushroom pudding is really good

We walked from our AirBnB, so the find was by chance. Pub and restaurant offerings w/ different menus. We ate in the restaurant for the broader menu. Outdoor or indoor seating for the pub. Would definitely return. Ver carta

Supringly very good for a bargain price. We stayed for one night and ate in the restaurant. Rooms were large and very clean. The food and service was very good. Only dropped one score due to the duvet veing way too thick and warm for summer.

We ate here as a party of 10 on a Saturday evening and were impressed with the food and service. The menu is varied, so there was something for everyone's taste. The food was freshly cooked and the portions were generous. The service was friendly and attentive.

Excelent sunday roast (we all chose beef), beautifully served with a selection of vegetables, mash and roast potatoes and extra gravy. Plenty of beef which was cooked to perfection and plenty of it. Would have loved a desert but was too full. Lovely waiting on staff. We will be back. Highly recommend. Ver carta

Booked a table at 1:30 for Sunday lunch Only six other people in the restaurant Waited 30 minutes to receive our food The server was very pleasant she did her best The veg Yorkshire puddings and gravy were excellent…. The pork was tough and tasteless Bit disappointed as I’m moving close by and thought it would be regular place to eat on Sundays

Arrived on a Monday night, seemed fairly quiet and weren't sure at first if we were going to get any service at all, helping ourselves to menus and taking a seat all without any sign of any staff. When the waiter arrived he was great, ordered a steak and a prawn salad all perfectly fine and reasonable quality. Large portions all round looking at other diners offerings. An unexpected find.

Have just spent a lovely evening/night here. The Ale was reasonably well kept.. My partner had 2 nice cocktails. The accommodation was spacious, large TV, good sized bathroom, clean etc. By far the best was the food. If 8I scored it on food alone it would get A*. The pigeon starter was absolutely amazing. I don't normally like black pudding but it complimented the pigeon so well. Black Seabream for mains were incredible on risotto was mind-blowing. It really was 1st class food. Thank You very much.
