"The food was terrible! An hour wait for food then when it came, it was overcooked or tasted awful! Calamari was like rubber so it was sent back, the waitress was great and offered a different starter in its place. Said 2-5 minutes but it arrived 10 minutes later and even that wasn't cooked great. Staff were great and apologetic for the poor food due to weak kitchen staff that couldn't keep up with online orders as well as orders in the restaurant . People who had booked tables were having to be asked to come back later as they were running late and didn't have tables for them. Awful night and came out very hungry and unhappy as it was our last night out on our short break staying in Stratford upon Avon. As stated staff were great and we were refunded for the starter we sent back and one of the uneaten main meals ."

The Staff made this visit really excellent. the food was outstanding and the staff couldn't be more helpful or accommodating. really attentive and helpful.

eating was nice, menu good, service was really good friendly and attentive. we sat in the window and the air conditioning system or the ventilator was quite cool for februar. this does not spoil a total experience and place is worth a visit.

Our experience here was great! We were on holiday and love Italian food, we've been to lots of Bella Italias but this had to be one of the best. The food was fantastic. The lady who served was so lovely, friendly and professional. Great atmosphere in this old building.. Would definitely recommend it.

We were wanting a quick meal ahead of a theatre trip. We ordered a sharing dish of humus and ciabatta bread together with 2 main courses. There was a 20 minute wait for our starter .It was poor with one piece of bread, which had appeared to have just been taken out the fridge. Having complained the waitress brought back 2 bread slices which had been toasted-these should have been served in the first place. The main courses tasted good but were quite small portions-felt like child portions.
