We took some French friends out for dinner during their visit, and they absolutely loved it. The service was outstanding, the food was excellent, and the house wine was enjoyable. The restaurant has a beautiful atmosphere, and I’m sure we will return again. Ver carta

We enjoyed a wonderful meal here last week. The food was outstanding, and the homemade pomme frites were particularly delicious. They also have live music on Wednesdays and Sundays. We'll definitely be back, and it's dog-friendly too! Service: 5/5 Location: 5/5

For dinner, I started with bread and butter, which was enjoyable, although it could have been served warm. For my main course, I opted for the Steak Frites, cooked perfectly to my medium-rare preference—something that's often hard to find in restaurants! We had a wonderful dining experience with delicious food and drinks. It was a pleasure to spend a lovely evening with our son and his French partner in such an authentic and charming restaurant. Our only critique would be the lack of broth to accompany the water on the table. We will definitely return—that’s a promise, not a threat! A great experience overall!

I didn't stay overnight, so please disregard the room rating. However, ten of us dined here twice in three days! Location-wise, it's very central, right on the edge of the old town center, though it is uphill. As for the food and drinks, we had a fantastic experience for under £400, which included wine for some. The menu features nice, straightforward French cuisine with excellent options like steak, duck à l'orange, and skate wing. The bistro atmosphere is lovely, and the service was commendable.
