"We live around the corner and wanted to try somewhere new to eat instead of the usual pub breakfasts! We were not disappointed! We were greeted by a friendly young lady who promptly took our order and made our lattes. The food arrived in good time and although you can go places and have alot more food on the plate the amount served here left you full but not stuffed and feeling sluggish which was nice! Was nice to see unusual bread used as toast and not just cheap white sliced bread other places would use! I felt this little place had a nice community vibe to it and a few of the older patrons enjoyed a good chat with the chef and the server which is lovely to see! The price for the food was actually very reasonable for the quaility we recieved and wouldn't think twice about returning"

"the first time here beautiful little pub. the best of both worlds. the exterior aesthetic is the look of a beautiful country pubs, while the interior is a stylish modern restaurant. great service and a beautiful atmosphere. we both had the bark Sunday, which was beautiful. we both had different desserts. I had the sticky toffee pudding, my man had the dark brownie, the both where divine. would definitely recommend everyone and would come back if in the opposite."

"We had a meal here on Saturday night a group of 5 of us. I had the home made curry and I have to say it was exceptional, all the food was home made, the staff were lovely too! We really enjoyed it. "Christmas dinner at the Bluebell was the best Christmas dinner we as a family have ever had. We were met at the door with a warm welcome and a glass of Prosecco. We had courses of beautiful traditional Christmas dinner with a twist. The...staff were friendly and jolly, the whole pub was beautifully decorated. The atmosphere was buzzing and the whole service was well organised and faultless. My month old puppy was also treated to a doggy bag as we left and he certainly appreciated that, he was one spoilt dog yesterday. The food was amazing and the mulled gin cocktail was out of this world. We had a lovely day thanks to the staff team at The Bluebell "

"Before our arrival, we called ahead to reserve a table for Friday evening as we had heard it can get busy and booking in advance was recommended. We made a reservation for 5pm. We had checked the menus online beforehand but were having trouble finding information about the opening hours, which was frustrating as we needed to plan around our children's feeding schedule. Upon arriving at our lodge at 4pm, we searched for information inside about the tearooms and how to get there as we were located on the opposite side. We couldn't find any visible site maps and were pressed for time as our table was booked. Luckily, we encountered a staff member who informed us that it was only a half-mile walk and advised us to call ahead if we might be running late. Upon reaching the tearooms, we were the only patrons there. Even when we left, there were only a few other guests. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. We visited again on Saturday evening and once again found it to be quiet. Despite it being a lovely summer evening, there were no other guests around. It's a shame that guests may not be aware of this wonderful place. The Saturday menu only offered two choices: a meat platter or a meat and cheese platter, which wasn't ideal for children. However, the chef kindly accommodated our kids with plain white bread and child-friendly ham. Overall, we highly recommend it as a place to enjoy a drink, relax, and then take a leisurely stroll back to your lodge."
