While I appreciate the fact that this restaurant offers vegan options, I was disappointed to find that the menu lacked creativity and variety. The dishes were all simple and low-cost. The stuffed pepper I tried was tasty, but the portion size was small. On a positive note, the staff were extremely friendly and attentive, which enhanced the overall dining experience.

While the menu options may be limited, this restaurant is a great choice in a city that values tradition over progressive vegan offerings. We decided on the flower cabbage to start, followed by wings and a burger for our main dishes. The flower cabbage was surprisingly the standout dish, while the burger was good. The garlic fries were also a highlight. The restaurant boasts one of the best views in the city, situated right by the sea. If the weather is nice, guests can even dine outside on the stunning upper floor. Overall, a visit is definitely worth it, especially for their vegan burger option. Ver carta

This place is just spot on Great location, great staff, great menu which delivers on everything it promises, and it won 't break the bank like some other establishments in and around Lake Windermere. I honestly couldn 't choose from at least 3 items on the menu, in the end settling on the more American Diner element of the menu and going with a pulled pork hot dog, upgraded with Parmesan and Truffle Fries. My wife had the Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich, followed by the Boardwalk Dessert Burger A great little idea and certainly a sweet tooths delight! Honestly, just visit this place if you 're in Bowness, you won 't be disappointed

My partner took me for a long weekend break to visit the lake district and we came across this fantastic restaurant the first night we was there the staff was all so welcoming and polite. The atmosphere was electric everyone enjoying there food. I had the belly pork (special) and my partner had the philly steak we both had starters and I tried to help share a dessert but I was too full. We had our dog with us and she was spoilt too with lots of doggy treats from all the staff and was loving the attention she was getting. We will definitely be back very soon hopefully in the next few weeks when I come for another visit from Cornwall.

My wife and I had a wonderful dining experience at Broadwalk restaurant. Despite the dark and rainy weather, we had some trouble finding the signage as it is located behind the front buildings. The frontage was not very interesting, but we decided to give it a try and we were not disappointed. We were warmly welcomed into the cozy interior and seated upstairs. Although the room was initially empty, it soon filled up with a great atmosphere. We started with the delicious mushroom soup and then enjoyed perfectly cooked steaks that melted in our mouths.
