Lovely restaurant with a good atmosphere. The food was really good and the staff were excellent. First of many visits for sure.

Another example of what is a mediocre italian eaterie in the North East. Food was no better than we can rustle up ourselves. Place was lacking atmosphere, and the waiter was devoid of personality. No smiles or casual chat.

The food and service at this restaurant were absolutely fantastic. My partner and I were thrilled to discover this hidden gem and we will definitely be back again and again. The Italian cuisine was truly authentic and the Tiramisu was amazing. Just delicious!

I have enjoyed this wonderful Italian on many an occasion and have never experienced anything less than excellent! The food is absolutely delicious and service is wonderful. We also get take away pizzas and pastas and the standard matches the restaurant brilliant! Can’t recommend highly enough!

We booked for our wedding anniversary and sadly, what a let down! No atmosphere staff unhelpful and itching to clear our table before we had even finished eaten. Food was very substandard especially the lasagne that was like soggy baby food. Quality and presentation of food did not match the price tag! Such a shame as we were so looking forward to it. We definitely will not eat here again.

This small restaurant offers stunning Italian cuisine with excellent quality food and service. Whether you enjoy mussels and king prawns, or dishes like the special goats cheese starter and chicken breast stuffed with brie and wrapped in prosciutto with a cream sauce, you're sure to find something you'll love. The chips are also fabulous. The overall dining experience is absolutely delicious and the service is amazing. This restaurant is recommended as a real gem.

How lucky the people of wolsingham are to have an authentic Italian restaurant on their doorstep. First visit today with my husband, 3 year old and newborn. Won’t be our last. Nicely decorated inside, really pleasant staff and nice house red wine. I tried the goats cheese off the specials board which was DELICIOUS! Husband had the king prawns off normal menu. For main we shared pizza carbonara. Pizza is gorgeous thin and crispy. Only improvement would be to serve some cocktails or aperol spritz and tap in to that market as would love to sit on the terrace with a summery drink although the wine was nice anyway.

What a lovely evening! First visit to Buon Appetito in Wolsingham which is crazy as we only live 12 miles away! We met up with a couple of friends for food and will definitely be back! The menu and specials board made our decision on what to eat a difficult one! But we all thoroughly enjoyed our choices, quality and quantity were excellent, for starters, mains and desserts. Lovely ambiance in the restaurant , busy even on a Tuesday evening! Very friendly, efficient and attentive staff. I love this place!!! Why travel up to Durham or Newcastle when we have such a delightful restaurant only 12 miles from our doorstep!!!
