Whilst Café Rouge may not be the finest dining restaurant, the York one is set in such a nice location. The food is okay but the service and atmosphere is always excellent.

Friendly welcoming and attentive staff. Great afternoon tea for my 8yr olds 1st experience. The Snowman afternoon tea is lovely and a great theme for festive time of the year.

This charming restaurant has a Parisian cafe vibe with jazz music in the background and French decor throughout. The signs and posters only add to the ambiance. The food is fantastic, the staff is friendly and helpful, making it the perfect spot for afternoon tea or a quick bite to eat and drink with your loved ones, friends, or family.

I had a reservation for afternoon tea at this lovely restaurant with a tranquil atmosphere. Even though I arrived early, I was seated without any issues. The staff members were polite and welcoming, and despite the busy environment, the food was promptly served. The afternoon tea was delicious and reasonably priced. I had a great experience and would definitely try another dish from the menu if I find myself in York again.
