Charlie's Bistro - Menú

We visited as a group of 9, Sammy looked after us really well. Food was excellent piping hot, freshly cooked and tasty. The steak pie was amazing the beef melted in your mouth. A lovely relaxed place, will visit again.

We enjoyed a fantastic dinner here on Friday evening. It was actually really intimate, not overly busy it made for a really enjoyable meal. The food was superb the server, very friendly helpful. We’d definitely return.

We dined here on the Saturday of our recent trip to Chatsworth having chosen it from the website alone. What a gem! The food and service were excellent. Portion size was perfect and the prices reasonable. We recommended it several guests at our hotel. Definitely worth a visit

Great food reasonably priced. Good service in a nice relaxed atmosphere. The a la crate menu offered a good choice of starters, main courses desserts. Visited Charlie’s whilst staying locally. Booked on-line, not disappointed. Would definitely recommend if you are in the area.

I have been lucky enough to enjoy Charlie's food on many occassion. Whether that be lunch with the girls, more intimate supper dates or most memorably, my daughter's wedding reception. Humble settings, but never disappoints no tricks, no fanfare; no need the food speaks for itself.

Just a note to say thanks to Charlie and his team. A fabulous Sunday roast served up to 17 of us and two toddlers after our wedding the previous day. All the family enjoyed the food which was a perfect way of thanking them all for4 travelling from far and wide to be with us. We will be back

we have managed to get a last minute booking here, while at a weekend hike in the summits. what a fantastic fund please do not hesitate to book a table. hearty warm home cooked eat exactly what they need after a cold day. for our gluten and dairy intolerances and really good value for money.

Excellent food and really good service Very attentive, polite and engaging. We made a spur of the moment booking and we managed to get a table. Restaurant had a chatty buzz but not too loud as to be intrusive. A very pleasant atmosphere If we stay in Baslow again or nearby we would revisit. Thank you to all of the staff as we observed how hard they were working to keep in top of all the orders and to provide excellent customer service.

Had a lovely meal at Charlie's last weekend for our Christmas doo.. Food delicious but.. . I have a but! I asked for a white wine, offered verbally a selection, I chose The sauvignon blanc.. Nice but not £10..odd a glass!! I should have asked the price but I think when it gets over £6 the waiting on staff should say that is £10.didnt find this out until the bill came I had 2 glasses so unknowing to me my 2 drinks cost me nearly as much as my meal.. Shocked to say the least. The food was delicious.. And the place is lovely, just watch the drinks!!
