"We have dinner at the tommerie restaurant on Tuesday evening. for a birthday. and unfortunately the kitchen is not at all at the height of this high-end establishment yet. The setting is beautiful: the view of rouffach and the plain, the park around the castle are ideal for making this place a magical place and high gastronomy! but the gastronomy is far away, very far from the one you can find on the good alsatian tables! Maybe it wasn't a chance this Tuesday night. But everything is to see or almost! the 76th flavor menu has flavors only in the title because the search for flavors is absent in almost all dishes! In the entry, smoked stains are crushed by mass beets presented in tagliatelles, the whole is dry, without perfume, the hint of sauce does not release anything. The fish then is certainly the worst dish of our menu: completely missed salmon cooking, under an infamous rosary that has no taste, served on a cold mousseline with some pieces of lost green asparagus...without salt, without aromas, without anything! We went there to celebrate a birthday. It was all very good. An excellent meal as well as the wines for which I found the rates very correct for the place. He was just making the frame a little better.

It's been years since we've been going to this restaurant whether it's the tommeries or the cave, the reception is always as professional and pleasant, the panorama is idyllic with views of the castle's vineyards and the alsace plain, the dishes are succulent, the waiters are perfect and discreet, we always spend an excellent time for lunch or dinner.

We celebrated our 45th anniversary this noon, on the terrace with the idyllic panorama of tommeries. the reception and the discreet and refined attentions of the olive-tree leader, have combined us. We would also like to congratulate the entire team in the room for an irreproachable service. the dishes served are of excellent quality. A delight for the view and taste buds! We had a great time last night in your restaurant. the service was impeccable, charming and very friendly. The fatty liver we had priced in entry was very tasty, as well as all the rest of the dishes (Iberian pig for my spouse and calf for me). desserts were generous and succulent, the basil ice with the blown nap is to fall. special mention for wines: the gewurtztraminer and the black pinot were really delicious. In short, the whole meal was perfect and all in an idyllic setting with a view overlooking the full of alsace. We will return with great pleasure!

I stayed at the Chateau for a few days and when I checked in was asked if I wanted to make a reservation at the restaurant which I did.I went early since I was eating solo. The view from the terrace is incredible and it gets even more gorgeous as the sun sets and the shadows cover the church in Rouffach.The food here is classic french with a middle eastern touch of spices. The portions are big. I was originally going to order the pre-set menu but was concerned about too much food so the server encouraged me to just order separately from the menu.I think the pre-set menu is better value if you have a group of people.
