Die Theke Darmstadt

Went there with friends and didn't expect much. I had good food, nice service and good atmosphere. They also show sport for those that are interested.

In Darmstadt on business mostly...came here on my and week and enjoyed it. time not so much...ordered food never arrived one more disappointment to add to the week and it is only Tuesday.

Great authentic local bar. Great beer and friendly staff. We stayed in Darmstadt for nights over New Year and this was our go to bar. They stayed open late into the night over New Year and we had a fabulous night with the locals...

I love Die Theke. It is a traditional German pub with a wide selection of different German beers, some local, some from further afield. The food is good too they have some of the usual things you would expect such as Kasespatzle, various bratwursts,..

Have eaten and drank! in Die Theke times over a week period recently. The food is top class, enormous portions for Euro per main, no need for starters! It's a great little place for just sitting at the bar for...a beer and watching the football as well, staff are fantastic, if you are in Darmstadt EAT HERE! Ver carta

We had a few beers and also had lunch in this pub. The food was surprisingly good, and they served quite big portions. It´s a typical brown pub also showing sports on the screens around the pub. Would definite recommmend this place for a beer...and lunch/dinner also. We thought that the price/performance at this pub was good too, we paied about for persons for lunch and beers pr. person.
