"We enjoyed a beautiful sunny winter walk with our Spaniels to this cafe bar as our chosen turnaround destination. Welcome sign Dogs Welcome the main reason to sit on our walk. Very friendly reception by James offered a table in the indoor or outdoor area we used the winter suns and sat outside. Dogs offered water service friendly efficient and helpful We ordered breakfast (only closed at 11.30am for breakfast orders) and coffee Great quality food and coffee and the Spaniels shared doggy sausages. Very happy to return and would like to recommend a stop here to everyone while enjoying the Riverside Walk. Will be a regular call location right away."

"The food at La Famiglia is absolutely excellent. They often have fish and seafood specials which are tremendous. Their Sunday roasts are also fabulous and only around £10 each. I have to recommend the Chicken Skewers and Seafood Sharing Platter, as well as the Caprese Salad (my fiancee is a strict vegetarian). NEVER had a reason to complain about anything I 've had here in over 4 years of attending this super-friendly restaurant. And they do have WiFi for device-obsessed patrons, but the password is Talk2eachother as they 're trying (and succeeding) in promoting a great, chatty, quiet music, friendly and welcoming eating place. Well done to Rob and the rest of the staff. One of my top 5 eateries in Newcastle."

"We had booked for NYE via OpenTable without realising they would be running a set menu. There was no indication that this would be the case, but luckily there were dishes on the menu that we all were happy to order. Jashn is normally our favourite Indian restaurant in the area, but we felt the food was lacking it's normal quality this time. I don't know if this is because it was a set menu and therefore dishes were cooked in greater quantities, or whether it was down to something else. However the curries were quite bland and the lamb meat was tough. Service as always was friendly and welcoming. We felt the set menu price was overpriced based on the quality of the food and left generally disappointed. If we didn't know that Jashn is normally much better, we wouldn't return to eat here again. However based on previous experiences over the past 5-7 years, I would hope that this was just a blip."

"Great scran that. I smashed in the prawns, she had lasagne nuggets, I'm told they were lush. Wor lass had a salami misti pizza, she never said a word to me until the last slice, when help was required. Naturally, as a top lad, I consumed the rest of it for her. I had Brisket Pappardelle A.KA. posh spag bol. 100% pure taste, I got extra chilli in mine, would recommend. Great service canny food. Service: Dine in"

"I asked for "Today's food" for lunch. There was only one private menu for one person. It was not a problem, compared to the same amount. £7.5 each ordered £1 tea to it. I felt very poor food. Payment should be £17, but £20 requested. Travelers are the owner of the shop. I think the owner is a ownerar."
