"This is a very traditional, rustic bavarian restaurant which offers several vegan options in their standard menu. In the summertime you can also enjoy dining in the beergarden. The staff seems well trained on the definition of vegan. They offer different options for starters (such as a nice big salad with mushrooms) and mains such as Thai curry, a Burger and a pasta dish. The pizza bread is also very recommendable (and a big portion if ordered as a side for the salad). The only drawback is that there are no vegan dessert options. This has not been a problem for me so far as the main meals are very plentiful and filling. Please note that this a is very popular place, and while they are open 7 days a week, make sure to make a reservation for popular dining times (such as weekends) as there is a chance to be turned away if restaurant is fully booked."

"A way forward: I rarely travel 5 stars for a restaurant, but here I have to do this because in Kempten there is no more beautiful and better. The old bleach is located in the Kemptner district of Sankt Mang, relatively hidden and only accessible from a side street. The parking spaces around the restaurant are simple enough, I found one more. Excellent location is the direct proximity to the Iller, i.e. the restaurant is located through a terrace directly on the river Kempten. Especially in summer there is no more beautiful restaurant location, as you have a great view and also do not perceive any noise from the city. When you enter the large restaurant, you will notice the high walls, the many glass windows and the beautiful and stylish furniture. With a lot of glass, the restaurant is very bright. There are always enough seats, usually a four table with beautiful bastions. Each table is also lovingly decorated. The menu is very good. For example, you can find something to eat as a vegetarian. Especially remarkable is the seasonal menu with regional products. Very good are mainly regional fish offers. Otherwise there are salads, pizzas, soups, pasta and smaller snacks all day. You can also eat warm at 4:00... The service is to be classified as very friendly and competent. You get good wine recommendations and don't have to wait long. A greeting from the kitchen is by the way standard! Unfortunately, the prices were slightly increased last year and the bleach is less a secret tip than before. For a good steak with supplement you pay an average of 16€. Still acceptable, you get a very tasty meal. All in all, I would call the old bleach as the best restaurant in the most beautiful location of Kemptens. Whether you want to sit comfortably on the terrace by the river at noon or book a candlelight dinner, the old bleach is the starting point number one for me."
