Die Karte bietet eine kleine Auswahl saisongerechter Gerichte zu einem günstigen Preis. Gutes Bier, nettes ländliches Gasthausambiente, sehr gutes Preisleistungsverhältnis.

Ich habe in dem Hause übernachtet, gegessen und gefrühstückt. Alles tadellos !Sehr gute Zimmer zu fast schon unschlagbaren Preisen. Essen traditionell und ehrlich ohne Schnick Schnack. Personal (alle) freundlich und nett. Frühstück einfach und gut. Ich komme wieder

Vi kom sent på kvällen till denna by, vi gick in här och frågade efter ett rum. Personalen var supertrevliga och hjälpsamma. Frukosten var god, det viktigaste och lite till finns. Rummen är stora och fina, lika så badrummen. Utsikten från balkongen är fantastiskt. Det finns verkligen inget att klaga på här.

The resturant in the hotel is excellent. We eat very well as the service. Our waitress Leah was very helpful and accommodating. The food is something from the ordinary. Nicely presented. The salad was beautifully dressed with a good balance of ingredients. We sat here 4 times and they can't do enough for you.

Wir hatten: Pfannkuchensuppe (lecker), Nudelsuppe (lecker), Kinderschnitzel (lecker), Käsespätzle (lecker), Lende mit Pfifferlingen (lecker), Semmelknödel mit Pfifferlingen (lecker), durchweg alles lecker!Fazit: gut bürgerlicher Gasthof, faire Preise, nette Bedienungen, sehr empfehlenswert!Karte abwechslungsreich, Donnerstag Schnitzelabend und andere Aktionen.Nette Wirtsleute, irgendwie wie bei Oma und Opa ;-) UND Kinder sind willkommen

Wir haben zweimal dort gefrühstückt und auch gegessen, und alles war richtig gut! Die Bedienungen waren stets freundlich und aufmerksam, wovon eine junge Dame besonders hervorzuheben ist, weil sie am authentischsten rüberkam. Die Zimmer sind einfach und sauber und mit Dielenboden ausgelegt, mal kein üsseliger Teppichboden! :-) Das Bad ist klein, aber zweckmäßig. Unser Fazit: Wir würden im wunderschönen Chiemgau zum übernachten und auch essen wieder dort einkehren!

We came to Aschau due to it's local clinic being one of the best places to handle the minor medical issue my son had. Every time we visited, we both stayed and ate at Gasthof Kampenwand and it's been so good every time that we don't even bother looking for another place to stay. We always get a spacious family room and can walk right downstairs and get fantastic German food for a great price. It also introduced me to the first but of Spaetzle that I enjoyed since I moved to Germany nine years ago. Highlights include their schnitzel evening and their seasonal Weis Bier Tiramisu. So good! :)
