Excellent food service and location could not fault it the duck was amazing thank you Such a lovely atmosphere

A friend mentioned this as their favourite pub, so we went for a lunch and enjoyed a good fish dish in a pleasant location. Certainly worth another visit

Having been to several restaurants in the area we keep returning to the George and Dragon the food is always great quality and we also feel covid safe as the tables are well spaced out and the staff are very friendly and welcoming.

A rare but winning combo of fine food and sunny staff in this pretty Cambs village.Fish dishes are the house speciality but other tastes are covered well.Stiff competition in this area known for its fine walking trails but worth visiting.

We had booked for lunch, for of us. I am in a wheelchair and access was easy, no steps. The choice of foods was excellent and there were quite a number of dishes I could have chosen. Everything was served promptly, and the staff...were friendly and thoughtful. I ate far too much, but enjoyed every morsel and we will definitely go back again next time we are in the area.

I met with 2 friends for our late Christmas dinner with secret santa. blame it on covid, why we are celebrating in the fairy! the place that is chosen halfway between which we all live, but that is worth waiting. large menu, fantastic food...good presented, hot and thoroughly delicious..Spoilt for choice...loving waitress (we forget to ask her name) and brilliant service. will certainly visit again

My OH ordered the pate to start and thought the toast was the best bit, I had the scallops which were well cooked, my criticism is too much black pudding and not enough cauliflower puree which was delicious) and bacon very salty. Then to...mains: OH had fruits du mer, crab and lobster were good, suspect not prepared on site? The rest was odd fish for seafood two types of salmon, you would normally expect shellfish, but all got eaten, now to my dish lobster thermidor, well it's not like anything I have ever experienced before, the lobster was chewy and the sauce was weird, it was orange and flavourless, again suspect this was bought in and heated up. This is a lovely old , interesting pub. We went for Sunday lunch yesterday and were sadly greatly disappointed. The starter of tempura prawns was delicious but the turkey main was a disaster. My friend said that the only good thing on her plate was...the cranberry sauce. I did like the cauliflower cheese , stuffing and pig in blanket. The roast potato was pale and hard, the thin slices of bland tasting turkey appeared to have been warmed up in tasteless gravy and the sprouts were undercooked and crunchy. This is my second visit in a year. The first time I picked the restaurant as it does a wide range of fish dishes and they did a good job. The second visit was very disappointing. I pre-ordered the surf and turf which was a.. special deal Well the one thing that made it stand out from the crowd was the size of the half lobster that accompanied the fillet steak. I'm surprised the lobster (Mrs P had the other half) was big enough to remain on the boat rather than being thrown back to let it grow a little more. It was also a little chewy and I felt ripped off. The steak was okay but I feel the meal was spoiled by the tiny lobster. The surroundings are quite dated but I went back the second time...
