George V - Carta

La comida fue apenas decente para el precio.. mas me aparecio una piedra en el postre y el director encargado me estaba acusando de haberla plantado para no pagar la comida

I came especially in this famous restaurant of the elysed fields not far from the arc of triumph of the star, because I had already gone there and then loved it well. Now everything is as beautiful and pretentious, but food, perhaps because of the large number of visitors, is no longer as tasty.

Comimos en la terraza y como suele pasar en París, mesas pequeñitas y pegados literalmente al vecino. Sin embargo, la comida estaba bien y el ambiente era agradable. Había muchos ejecutivos parisinos en su pausa de comer lo que, dado que está ubicado en una zona turística, parece buena señal. No estuvimos por la noche, pero por la decoración y el tipo de personal que nos atendía parece un lugar de moda.

Certamente se você já foi a Paris, sabe que não falta oportunidade para viver essa cidade maravilhosa, mas sabe também que são as experiências que vão definir a qualidade da lembrança que teremos de um fato, lugar ou acontecimento. E posso dizer que sentar no George V foi o "acaso" mais acertado durante a nossa estada em Paris. Atendimento impecável, os pratos deliciosos e bem servidos, e a Avenue George V? Ah! Experimenta sentar por lá, dá uma olhada pra Place du pont, sente a brisa tocar a sua face, e depois você me diz, tá?! Ver carta

We tried the Restaurant on 1 avenue George V, Place du pont de l alma in Paris.The staff were very friendly and helpful. We ordered 2 beef fillets and a duck comfit. One beef was perfect but I had to complain about the quality of mine. A manager quickly appeared, without any debate, she quickly sorted things and a new steak was prepared which was excellent. Very accommodating and we couldn't fault the rest of the meal and wine.Hence despite initial set back with my steak we all thoroughly enjoyed the meal and would go back again.

Finally we found a very good compromise on the champs where the risk to eat bad and pay worse is very well known.Food and location where very well Price of the wine super competitive The waitress was the added value to my review: we arrived at 22.30 she was already dead tired but always smiling and kind with us. We had a truly lovely evening at George V, followed by a somewhat disappointing one. Steak frite is Frances national dish. You would think that medium rare would be produced consistently on this basis but unfortunately one was a medium rare and one was very very rare. It must have been two different chefs. We were rather disappointed, mainly because the first one was so good. It was nearly right but I don't feel as a visitor to Paris you should have to explain what medium rare is when it is the national dish. however I would recommend because it is a lovely spot for dinner.
