Hobb's Cafe - Carta

A beautiful warm and cozy cafe. The gentleman who owns the store is very friendly and knowledgeable on baked goods. The cronuts are devine.

We only had coffee and tea but the cakes and sandwiches looked good too . Does very good business from walkers. The best decaf coffee I have for ages

Lovely spot at the start of a great walk. Quick service despite being very busy. My only regret was choosing a sausage roll as the sandwiches looked absolutely delicious. Ver carta

What a pleasure to pop into the warm, cozy, holiday decorated cafe and sit by the fire with my perfect cappuccino cronut on a rainy day. Thank you @HobbsCafe for literally being shelter from the storm. Your holiday vibe is delightful!

visited mid afternoon for cake. luckily we had eaten dinner in Bakewell as although they do hot food none was available that day. but we were just glad it was open! 2 coffees, 2 cakes at £17.nt cheap but was quite nice. would visit again

What a great find, well located on the Monsal Trail over looking the valley. Atmospheric interior in the older part of the cafe and some more modern seating areas too. Good range of snacks and drinks and friendly service. Well worth a call if walking through the area but very popular so be prepared to wait for a table. Ver carta

The dog and I were so happy to see this place after getting most of the way round on a huge, snowy trek. She had a sausage roll, I had a hot chocolate and both of them were absolutely beautiful (I let the speed of the sausage roll’s consumption be an indicator of the dog’s opinion). Thank you so much for the friendly service and warm, cosy surroundings while we waited. We will be back!

I visited yesterday with a large hiking group. The owners and staff were welcoming, friendly, and accommodating. The cafe is cozy and warm, with a great variety of pastries, cakes, and hot dishes. I enjoyed a pot of tea with a scone topped with jam and clotted cream, a perfect treat after our hike. Others in the group ordered sandwiches and soup, which all arrived promptly and looked delicious, especially considering our large group size.

My partner and I stopped here for a drink earlier this week after finishing a decent walk in the area. We only wanted a little bite to eat and a drink so I had a hot chocolate and a sausage roll and my other half had a latte and a Chicken Tikka pasty. My hot chocolate was very tasty (although bizarrely it was not listed as a drink on the menu), the sausage roll however I could’ve done without to be honest; it may have been that it just wasn’t to my taste but I wasn’t a fan. My partner’s drink and food were very nice apparently so top marks there. Perfect location to stop at after a walk. Ver carta
