This place is great. So cosy and welcoming, just what you need after a long day hiking. Great local comfort food served by friendly staff, what more could you want. Would definitely recommend.

I have been over 20 times to this area and this was my first time at Jennerkaser....by far the best restaurant in the area with incredible view! We were 8 people and ate and drank a lot and it was under 20EU per person for amazinggggggg food!

Easy place to sit and relax. Enjoy the view and the ambience. But don't expect too much from the dinner. We ordered the trout which was under cook and not de boned. The other plate ordered was the Rostbraten. The roasted potatoes were under cooked and the nest a tad tough. Ver carta

We have visited this place with my family and found it quite cosy with good food and reasonable service. It serves mainly local food with exceptional kaiserschmarnn. Despite quite a high season we still could easily find a table. Good to experience culinary Tyrol at a glance.

Cosy eatery with a fireplace and hearty German dishes. I enjoyed the beef goulash soup with a rich flavour and generous amount of beef and potatoes served with rye bread. The pork roast and the schintzel were excellent and we wolfed them down. Desserts were...delicious esp the traditional cut pancakes. Service was exceptional. The waitress was friendly and very efficient. Food was served very promptly.

Jennerkaser restaurant serves authentic Bavarian food and offers a traditional atmosphere. Staff was friendly and attentive. Our main dishes came out as ordered and were quite tasty. But our desert "Watzmann Nockerl" was just amazing, see the pictures. It is called out for two persons, but would least enough for four persons. Price-performance ratio of Jennerkaser is very good. We've been here a few times now and always had good solid Bavarian food. The atmosphere is probably what brings us back as it is a traditional Bavarian bar restaurant with fires and lovely eating booths. The service is excellent and the location by lake koeningsee means you can do several great walks, boats trips or ski runs from here. We always stop here on the way back for some great food and beer. This year we ate schnitzels, kase spaetzle, leberkase and soups which were all fabulous. Really family friendly also.

I must say, we were a little intimidated when we approached the restaurant as it seems like one of those local places where you're being stared at if you look like tourists. However, we were determined to eat well that night! And eat like a local we must! We were seated inside which was very delightful! Very cosily decorated and our little girls were so thrilled with our in a dirndl whom they thought was a princess. For us, we were just relieved they spoke very good English and I might add, very friendly. We tried dinner once there which turned out to be pretty nice. It was rainy evening in July, temperature 14C, we decided to eat here. When we walked toward the door then sat inside, everyone looked at us as we were tourists and not dressed like we were going to hike, which made us a little uncomfortable.Food: I ordered the turkey dish with French fries and salad, mild-hot sauce, but it turned out to be a turkey toast (Teufelstoast): one piece of medium size turkey on two pieces of bread, with 2/3 plates of French fries with thousand island sauce on the turkey.
