Wonderful authentic Austrian food. The rindsgoulash was very tasty, and the cordon blu made with pork was delicious.

you are really feeling Austria, from the decoration to what you get in your dish. I enjoyed a Wiener Schnitzel there. Recommended for business or tourist.

Very rude gentleman behind the bar. Spoke English to us then claimed not to speak English when other customers asked for a table. As foreigners we felt very unwelcome. Lady very friendly so that made up for it a little. Food portion small but ok. Bill was incorrect when it arrived. Would not go back and would not recommend to others.

This place is a little hard to find. It's right off the main square. Go into the building with the tourist info, walk past it and keep going until you get to a courtyard and there you are. It's outdoor dining in the courtyard. Not...sure if they have inside dining. They offer daily lunch specials and local beer. The food is very good and extremely affordable. Some of the waiters have limited English skills, but you can get by well enough.

Great traditional Austrian Wirtshaus in Linz! The menu is concise, but has everything it needs. I ordered a schnitzel, which came with potatoes, a salad and a side of Preiselbeeren. Everything tasted fresh, delicious and the pint of Linzer beer from the nearby brewery paired quite nicely. And even though I was there during the lunch rush, the service was friendly and fast. The only down side to my entire visit: I was seated near the back door. This usually wouldn't be a problem but over the course of the visit, at least 4 people came through and smoked cigarettes outside right next to the back door. Each time the smoke filtered inside and permeated the entire back room. Rather unpleasant as...

The Schweinebraten I ordered was simply excellent tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The accompanying side dishes complemented the dish beautifully, and the portion size was generous. The beer selection was impressive, and I must say, the brews were super tasty. They perfectly complemented the flavors of the food and added to the overall dining experience. Speaking of food, the Asparagus Cordon Bleu was another winner. It was a delightful twist on a classic dish, and the flavors were superb.
