"back arles after ten years we find the interview with infinitely of pleasure. The setting is very pleasant, the impeccable service and the dishes always as good. This is still true today with a tajine to fall!A small reproach however. This delicious and rich tajine of meat and sauce is served with a small bowl of natural semoule. we ask the server for a small extra bowl to share between us. This is done quickly but we were disappointed it is true to see it charge 2.50€ on the bill. for a cup of natural semoule it is expensive and petty anyway.it is true that already at the aperitif we had been disappointed not to find the least peanut or olive to accompany it. So tonight we've been happy but."

I usually come out of the summer season and I have lunch inside that is very warm with direct access to the South Act bookstore we have taken advantage of this time of the welcoming sweat terrace service is pleasant without chichi and efficient the tajines always to the top well spicy with freshly a beautiful address in simplicity and quality

If you leave the bookshop south by the docks, you can't miss this restaurant on the pleasant terrace, located on the edge of the rhône, rather better aired than the city center. Be careful not to put you directly under a dish, twigs, leaves and bugs may land on your plate. Replicative meal salads (I chose the eastern assortment), excellent tajines (I tasted the tajine keftas), and reasonable prices for the city and summer period. The service is efficient but rather pressed and not very warm. Be careful, on weekends and during the summer, no formula of the day.

"This restaurant is part of a hotel in a very impressive 16th century building. It looks very classy. However, the night we were there, there must have been some serious problems in the kitchen (or maybe it is always like that . We started with a shared plate of charcuterie which took a long time to arrive – how long does it take to arrange the cold meats on a plate? We then waited a very, very long time for our main courses. While waiting, we saw a dispute at another table involving the maître d’ and resulting in plates going back to the kitchen. We had both ordered duck à l’orange which came with Camargue rice. The rice appeared to have been baked in the oven and was so crisp and dry that it resembled a cereal bar. The ‘orange’ was not the usual sauce, but instead was four cubes of orange that appeared to have been scorched on a grill. They added nothing to the dish. It had been suggested that we should share a side of seasonal vegetables. These turned out to be big chunks of boiled potatoes (with rice! , a boiled root vegetable and a couple of dry artichokes. We had interchanges with two servers and the maître d – all were cold and brusque. We lived in France for more than 20 years and appreciate the fact that the French like to take their time with meals, but there is a big difference between leisurely and glacially slow. Perhaps we were there on a bad night, others seem to have had a better experience."
