We weren’t expecting much from this place as it was so quiet and very modest in appearance. However, my couscous dish with merguez sausage was absolutely brilliant!

If you are looking for an excellent Couscous and other specialities, I strongly recommend this restaurant. The dishes are excellent, the welcoming team and small care. You can go with your eyes closed!!

The couscous is good, we were served quickly and gently. I really like the front, in the ancient ceramic tiles. The atmosphere was family, beautiful view of the church. The royal vegetable garden being close, it is a good place to finish a walk. Ver carta

Loved this bar. It's got a huge area outside to sit, but was a bit chilly the time we visited, so we sat inside. We only had drinks, so can't comment on food. The wine and beer were very well priced. The staff were fantastic. The barman especially was very friendly. You;d highly recommend drinks here.

Good evening After reading the reviews, I booked there on Sunday night at 9pm for four people We arrived at 9:04, of course, in a deserted place, facing a guy telling us that the cook was gone and that he would not receive us. Faced with this irritant who doesn’t sweat the motivation, we went to see the competition that we enjoyed Sir, if you don’t want to serve, don’t accept reservations, it’s the least of things Cordialemently

Having spent most of the day walking around Versailles palace and gardens, we needed a little bit of comfort and good food. I followed up the review on L'Esperance from this site and we were not disappointed. A lovely welcome from the waiting staff and customers alike and we settled down to relax. The atmosphere was friendly and felt like going to your favourite local bar or eatery. We choose beef and lamb skewers on couscous. But what we got was amazing a huge bowl of couscous, tasty vegetable stew sauce to ladle over and extras chickpeas, raisins and harrisa, and then tender skewers of lamb, beef and merguez sausage.
