very good surprise, a cozy/simple setting with very good products ( vegetables, fish, drinks etc.). It's a kitchen without too much chichi but successful. to spoil the service is pleasant, smiling and eager to give satisfaction to customers.

lunch on the terrace in the shade of the plane tree...A real happiness on this day of particle! A small card but offering mastered and friendly dishes; and all of this just a few steps from the Atlantic. That's all I expected from this great address to moliets.

relatively classy restaurant offering a varied menu for all tastes and that one can actually qualify as excellent from the point of view of the very fast and courteous service as really "homemade" dishes. From the good resto for a menu that starts at 26€, a price that,a the map gives grosso modo an entry and a dish.

We have been there a couple of times already. Being a camper it is nice, once in a while to spoil oneself with nice food and wine. We enjoy the cuisine of De l’Ocean very much, but find each time that the staff is lacking warmth and is not cheerful at all, despite being very professional. A smile once in a while would harm .

Very good restaurant. They respect the tables distancing covid measures which is truly reassuring as opposed to other places which we fled. The food itself was good. We had the vitello tonato and tomato tarte as starters and then the white tuna and assiette bascaise. The starters and tuna were delicious. The assiette bascaise was ok but nothing to write home about, the fries were too oily. Prices were ok. They accept dogs and provide water when asked. We will definitely go back.

according to the reviews read, you have to book in season, and wait a bit for the table to be released... a small glass proposed to wait would have been welcome. It wasn't. Too bad, very pleasant outer grave. the map is appetizing especially the suggestions of the day.Once the order placed wait very long (45 minutes). we chose fish (daurade, merlu de ligne), very fresh. The accompaniment is a little light, deserves to be more garnished. Not quite a copy. Services enchain, it's a very popular restaurant .terrasse smoking.

Moliets-et-Maa is all but our favorite vacation spot, and it was a mistake that we had planned to stay there for 2 nights. The place is overly crowded. Most people are campers that stay on one of the immense camping grounds nearby: either families with kids, or bunches of 20-year old surfers. So inbetween the hamburger, pizza and other fast food restaurants, we were lucky to find the Hotel de l 'Ocean , a bit of a decent restaurant, 1 of the only 2 decent restaurants in Moliets-et-Maa. We both had the Mixed Grilled Fish, and those plates were huge and very tasty! Also our starters (Ceviche and Seafood Starter) where good, and the wine was excellent. Service however was usually absent and too...
