"from beginning to end really good eating and service we went for afternoon to the birthday of my wife. at £16 a head a bargain and really good price-performance ratio eat more than enough. first we got coffee or tee, then five finger sandwiches the scones and jam with plentiful camouflaged cream then desserts. this married with ample drinks and great service would highly recommend. what made our visit even better was the fact that the cook hand a cake for the birthday of my wife enough for the five and it was very tasty and at a price of £15 good worth it! again it was great and will go back again when compared to other afternoons that I and woman tried was really good value for money!"

We booked in for a pre-show burger and beer hospitality package, food was delicious and service was outstanding, we enjoyed that much we added dessert and coffee to our meal. Highly recommended

Amazing food and service. Couldn’t do enough for us. Catered for my gf requirements and we were able to return to our table for interval pudding and drinks! Delicious food and would certainly go back.

Had a fabulous time Pier Eight. The food was exceptional and the service was of the highest standards. The staff couldn't do enough for us even when we asked for the air conditioning to be turned down! I can't wait to go back.

Called in for a pre theatre meal. The food was excellent and the service friendly and attentive. We were on the set menu plenty of choice and the food was beautifully cooked. We will definitely est there again on our next visit to the Lowry.

Was here yesterday having a pre theatre lunch. Food was tasty for the adults but Niece didn’t like the extra think pizza from the kids menu and to be fair it didn’t look very appetising. We all enjoyed the desserts and the service and setting was fantastic. Loved that we could go back for drinks in the interval. Our waiter was lovely and understood that we needed to leave for the show. Would dine here again when attending a show again!

A pleasantly surprising five-star review! We had made a reservation for a concert dinner and didn’t have high expectations. Right away, we were served ice-cold water. We didn’t order any starters. I had the bratwurst risotto with chili marmalade, and it was absolutely delicious. For dessert, I chose the peanut butter cheesecake with a berry compote, which was also fantastic. My partner enjoyed some excellent cod and a chocolate pear mousse, making for a very satisfying meal. I might have considered dropping a star because there was an extra charge for sides and bread, but the quality of the food really impressed me. The service was excellent as well. Highly recommended!
