Priced at £30 for a 3-course meal, the beef was overcooked and tough, making it difficult to eat. The portion size of the roast potatoes and vegetables was small. The chocolate and raspberry cake was dry and would have been improved with some pouring cream."

"Itadakizen is my all time favourite Vegan restaurant, and I have been Vegan/Veggie for almost 10 years and tried so many restaurants, non of them even come close! You should absolutely give them a try, you won't be disappointed! I recommend the nuggets, any of the ramen and the matcha gelato!!!"

"We stayed overnight at this lovely B&B and were impressed with the spotlessly clean individually decorated rooms. The bed linen and towels were of excellent quality and we appreciated the fresh milk and coffee machine in the room. The full-size hair dryer and good water pressure in the rainfall and massage shower were nice touches. The hosts were polite and welcoming, explaining all the features well. Breakfast was excellent, with good quality food cooked and presented beautifully. Parking was available at the rear of the hotel, which is centrally located in the heart of Oswestry. We would not hesitate to visit again or recommend this hotel."

"Stopped here on route from Worcester to North Wales and what a find! Went in with out a reservation and it was no problem, lovely menu, hard to choose what to get. Went for the Beef Brisket with Horseradish Mash and Buttered Greens and Gravy and oh my! Beef was melt in the mouth and proper mash and veg that was perfectly cooked. My husband went for the curry and had it extra spicy and it sure was that. It came half and half with chips and rice and a basket of Naan. My daughter had the mac and cheese with Garlic Bread and for the 1st time the meal came out the perfect temperature for her to eat straight away! The staff were all lovely. I would definitely come back again if we were passing this way. 5 stars from me."

"short; great food, great beer and first class service. we called a Thursday lunch time just before 12:30 a.m. and to our surprise were the parking lot and the pub already full. we hadn't booked in advance and although there were only two of us, we were lucky to get one table. next time we will definitely book a table in advance. there was a good selection of beers and the beer we had was great. the menu offered a good selection of dressed, we had only called for a light lunch and went with the chicken sandwich that was served with chips not quite a light lunch, it was very crowded, but it was fantastic, we really enjoyed it. all in all a great lunch, we'll be back soon."

"Relaxed grazing family meal Booked for 530pm. No rush to order. Welcomed by owner who was keen to help and guide. 2 friendly dogs residents which our youngest loved. Felt like being welcomed to a friendly home host. Explained he had a host staff member down which was fine because we were in no rush. In fact it felt relaxed and allowed us to settle in and relax after a busy afternoon. Lots of interesting selections of grazing and main meal options. Well, we could not have anticipated the quality of the cooking. We asked for things to be sent out as they were ready (good option and we grazed away for our stay. Good quality food and wine and seriously reasonable prices. Our 20something to teenage boys left satisfied and full, as did we. Unassuming and delightful visit in this hidden gem. Go without a timescales and enjoy an unhurried but genuinely satisfying and tasty selection of home cooked delights from this skilled and talented chef who caters for tastes young and old. Pure joy for a group who are not always easy to please. Recommend the garlic prawns (simply phenomenal , garlic mushrooms (like I’ve never tasted! , Mac and cheese (pleased a 13 Yr old, hard to please USA foody addict and sirloin steak which was tasty beyond measure. Bottle of Sauvignon was cheap by restaurant standards but good quality too. Recommended by a tricky group who are hard to please in their entirety, usually but all left wanting a return visit. Wish we lived closer as we would be regulars!"

"It had been a while since my last visit, but it was even better than I had remembered! I am already thinking about coming back for breakfast next time. Be sure to try the venison dish, it's delicious. The service was impeccable, and the atmosphere was perfect for a leisurely lunch. The price per person was around £30-40, but well worth it for the quality of food and service. I would give this restaurant a 5 out of 5 for both food and service."

"We stayed last weekend. The welcome was very warm. And all the staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were fully of character with beautiful furnishing and very comfortable.. our evening meals was amazing. There was a wide range of dishes and everything was cooked to perfection and delicious. Our breakfast was also delicious with local ingredients and homemade bread, black pudding and marmalade. "I loved it here and would have given it 5* but there were 2 things which stopped me. I stayed in room 6, my friend was upstairs and it was just us two in that block which housed the two rooms so was lovely. The rooms were massive and were very nice! Also very clean. The bathroom was a good size as well. The shower was electric and was nice and hot this morning and came with shower gel. There was plenty of toilet roll and there was handwash. The towels were proper bath sized ones not ones that only covered 3/4 of you so they were amazing!!! In the room there was tea/coffee kettle, a table and 2 chairs as well as a double bed. In the wardrobe there was a fan, a heater, an iron, an ironing board and a hairdryer. There was also a full length mirror on the back of the door. There is also a TV on the wall. My two issues which stopped me giving 5* is that the mattress was very very hard and had obviously seen better days and the other was that there was no plug near the mirror. I unplugged the kettle for my straighteners which just about then reached the mirror. Despite my opinion of the mattress, I did sleep well. Considering I was on the ground floor and its a pub, I heard very little noise. The wifi was also really good. We had dinner, good job we booked as pub was really busy! They have an excellent offer on. It was a main and a drink of your choice (we had a G T) for £14.00! Was very enjoyable. Breakfast this morning was also very very enjoyable. You could choose your cooked breakfast and there was cereal available. Orange juice was on the table and tea/coffee to order. The staff were always really pleasant and helpful. In fact, I felt they couldn't do enough for you so I really appreciate this. If I was this way again I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Parking was available at no extra charge and Much Wenlock is an absolutely beautiful Town. This pub was within walking distance (of just a few minutes) from the main parts with shops, cafes and pubs. There was some really historical beautiful building!"

"Been here before and the Sunday meal was so good we (my daughter and I) decided to go there again, so we made a reservation the night before to avoid disappointment. Last orders for Sunday lunch we were told was 4:45pm so we booked for 4:30pm. Upon arrival we were ignored by a couple of young girls deep in there own conversation and after I gave a cough one eventually showed us to our table. My daughter who only eats chicken was told No chicken left no apologies or anything, so she decided to go for some tartlet. When meal came we were told no Yorkshire puds and there was no tartlet on my daughter 's plate, we asked the waitress who said oh ok will knock it off the bill excuse me a plate of veg for her didn 't look appealing at all. Then asked if we wanted the bill before being asked if we wanted dessert, reluctantly the dessert menu was brought to us being told no cheesecake so we decided what we wanted off the waitress went to come back 2 mins later to tell us the chef has gone home and has shut the dessert shed so can 't have a dessert Omg what a fiasco, come on management get your act together. I appreciate you were busy maybe but surely the chef should be on site until customers have left. Word of mouth is key to a good reputation and after yesterday 's shambles the words out of our mouths wouldn 't do your business any favours."

"After numerous previous visits to this restaurant, this one has to be the worst I'm afraid. We, a table of four friends attended on Saturday evening, the place was reasonably busy but by no means full. Service was ok ordering drinks and food. After that...we were obviously invisible to the staff for the rest of the evening. Not once were we asked for more drinks, nobody came over to ask if the meal was ok (only two of our meals were ok). The pizza was chewy and difficult to cut. We had difficulty catching their attention even for the bill. Towards the end of the evening we and others we noticed were having to put coats on, it was freezing in there, there was obviously no heating on. We complained to the waitress before leaving about the above, unfortunately she didn't seem overly bothered. On previous occasions the owners and staff have been most attentive and helpful. I don't think we will be returning."

"Start to finish exactly what a professionally run proper pub should be and the experience has renewed my faith I'm descent pubs. Had done a challenging hike and arrived 2 minutes before food service was ending, Landlord Jack was great allowed us to order food regardless and kept the kitchen open. "Decent place. Stayed for 2 nights, beds were comfy and tea coffee was provided- Although I would advise taking your own toiletries, as none provided (including hand soap) as well as no bath mat. "Visited Reubens BBQ yesterday with my wife and children for an early dinner. Service was amazing, female member of staff was full of smiles and couldn’t do enough for us. Ordered food and had a lovely chat with the member of staff about the menu and about their food challenge, sadly they’ve stopped doing it as i’d have given it a go Food arrived and to say we were amazed would be an understatement. Not only did the meals look great, they tasted even better with the meat melting in your mouth alongside the oozy cheese and hot sauce! All for great value and it’s safe to say we will 100% be going back there sooner rather than later!! Only criticism we had was the location, we only found it as we used google maps. Maybe more signage on the high street would point more people in the right direction. Cannot comment on rooms as only visited the restaurant. Service: 5 Location: 4"

"A wonderful café and deli that offers a variety of unique teas, coffees, salad dressings, sauces, wines, and all your deli essentials. We had a fantastic lunch with delicious tea and coffee, and ended up purchasing a few items to take home. If we lived nearby or were staying close by, we would have left with bags filled to the top with their olives, sliced meats, and cheeses. The staff was fantastic, and the atmosphere, complete with Tamla Motown music, was delightful. Kudos to everyone involved!"

"Our first visit to Ludlow was a great dining experience at Bistro 7. I had done some research beforehand, as my wife is celiac, and the restaurant was very accommodating. I contacted them in advance to make a reservation and they were able to cater to our dietary needs. When we arrived, we were pleased to see a sign indicating the restaurant was fully booked, but we had a table reserved. The staff were friendly and attentive, making sure to accommodate my wife's dietary restrictions. The dishes were delicious and well-presented, with a great selection of flavors. The atmosphere in the restaurant was cozy and the staff were helpful without being intrusive. Despite not being able to try the desserts, we had a wonderful time and would highly recommend Bistro 7. Special thanks to the staff for making our visit to Ludlow memorable."

"I went to the restaurant and had two roast dinners, each costing £18. The meals were tasty, although the beef was a bit fatty. One of the dinners was gluten-free, so I couldn't have cauliflower cheese or Yorkshire pudding. Unfortunately, they refused to lower the price. It's a shame because we would have returned if they had been more accommodating. In terms of dietary restrictions, there were other options available, such as a gluten-free gin and blackberry trifle, but I was too full from the main course to try it. The restaurant also offered gluten-free mains like curry or sea bass. Overall, I would rate the food a 4 out of 5."

"We have to be honest we went to The Oruna because we’d been lazy and not booked our usual Indian restaurant and we ended up not being able to get a table. However, we found a warm welcome and a table at The Oruna. The service was great; very attentive and polite but not hovering over the table. We decided we couldn’t manage a starter so we just shared popadoms and onion bhajis. These were both cooked fresh and not precooked. Our main courses came out after we’d been asked if we were ready for them. This was a nice change we weren’t rushed. Everything was piping hot. The chap that brought them warned us about the red hot plates and dishes. Both of our meals were delicious. We had nothing to moan about. From entering The Oruna to leaving the service was great. Everything we ordered was spot on. We were talking about our meal later and couldn’t understand why we’d not been to The Oruna for such a long time. This is a bad habit that we’re going to have to get out of…."
