"We ate here on the first night of our holiday and so glad we did. We ate early (6.45pm) and it filled up quite quickly after 7pm. The range of tapas options was great, with different food styles and flavours from around the world. We ordered 6 dishes, no bread, with the intention of having dessert, but we were too full. Never mind what we had was delicious! The wine by the glass was also very good. £80 total, including tip."

"We celebrated our anniversary at the hotel and had dinner on the evening of the summer solstice. The restaurant was peaceful, yet the atmosphere was still lovely, and the staff were truly exceptional. We both started with the squash soup, which was delicious. The beef fillet was incredibly tender and cooked to perfection, and the millionaire chips were delightful. My husband ordered the scribble, and he thoroughly enjoyed it. We couldn’t resist finishing off with dessert."

"dinner for 6 on the long established salcombe coffee co,. the in summer some nights in the week opens. chilled vibe and attentive service, especially by andy the owners. nothing too much, and he supports his team very well. large fish menu that dances! Gumbo...is everything it should be, the Hake-Special with brown garnels nicely cooked and impractical with salty garnels. the starters of albondigas with real slingering heat from chilis turned out to be exceptional with lukenically lined local sourdough. the chef, jane, can cook seriously and has a tiny kitchen kitchen with talented youthful. Unfortunately the rosé was drunk, but really good picpoul de penet, and a bottle of sancerre were excellent. it is small, humbly and really fab. 10/10. No wonder it's still there after 20 years."

"we went here on Saturday evening (party of 4,) as we regularly visit the sister restaurant are the winking prawn, which is beautiful. our waitress was very nice, but eating was literally terrible. we ordered halloumi while we read the menu that it was not possible. raw halloumi swim in extremely strong garlic oil. they took the bill when we didn't touch it. starter: mush were full of grit and minuscule. they were clearly not fresh. prawns were cooked and tasteless. bands were nice crochets were good. netz: 2 krabbensalate (one with a pfeffer allergy that we have told the waitress were not listed on the menu, but we have mentioned it anyway) the person with the pfeffer allergy was served an salat with pfeffer. jrk huh: was good. just a piece of **** with something tear, can't do much wrong. scallops prawns absolutely eat the worst I ever had in devon and almost 20 pfund. the garnels were so over cooked that I could not peel them. also the skalopps were overcooked. the meal was just terrible. we mentioned all this to the manager when we went to pay (about £100 for pleasure to eat this) and his attitude was quite literally “good what they want me to do about it?” I never complain. I never write reviews. but that was the hands down, the worst meal I've ever eaten in a restaurant, and it's a big shame as it could be beautiful."

"Of out on our travels today heading for a local pub in plymouth for a Sunday carvery, en route traffic was horrendous so headed away from plymstock going towards Kingsbridge found a nice little pub creeks end inn, had a truly scrumptious carvery with proper thick gravy mmmmmm everything was lovely and will definitely be recommending to all friends and family, will be back for sure."
