"We waited 30 minutes for our food at this restaurant, only to find out that there was a limited menu because someone forgot to switch on the oven. The portion size was very small compared to what we have received during past visits, and the quality was not up to our usual standards. It was a very disappointing experience and we are unlikely to return. However, we must commend the waiter for his amazing service - he was running the floor alone and had to deal with explaining the limited menu to customers, as well as handling people walking out."

I feel like the chef felt I'd slept with his wife. Its the only way I can explain why the meal was so bad it felt truly personal.The chips weren't cooked. How can you not cook chips.

This restaurant is wonderful, the food was delicious. I brought my daughter here for her birthday dinner. She had previously visited the one in Seaham and enjoyed it. The tiramisu is fantastic! Ver carta

The food at this restaurant was delicious, but I was disappointed to find that the advertised price for Sunday lunch was £8.95 on the board outside, but we were actually charged £10.95 each. When I asked about this, I was told it was due to inflation. Is it legal to change prices like this?

Ordered from here tonight bolognaise was stale and disgusting rang for a refund or replacement sent out and was told next time I order I can have something free. Then he continued to hang the phone up on me because I told him it wasn’t good enough when I’m a regular customer to the company. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Go to a different Sambucca!
