"David and I have keenly watched the career of Steve and were delighted to have him take over The Anchor which is a few minutes from home. We had high expectations of the meal and were blown away by the magical dishes. We loved the warm, welcoming and friendly atmosphere and chatted happily with other diners. The best thing about this lovely village pub is that at it's heart is family. Now, to the food, every mouthful was tasty, little bursts of contrasting yet complimentary flavour. I was particularly pleased that I was able to order a chocolate dessert which has not happened in years as I am allergic to dark chocolate and am always disappointed that chefs favour it. I know, I know, it's the best chocolate to have at least 70%cocoa yawn yawn, but I am allergic to it and always have to miss out, so thank you very very much Steve for making me feel normal. I cannot wait to get back for a Sunday lunch or dinner to see what magical spins Steve can do. Thank you very much for a superb evening, I have earnt brownie points for treating David to a memorable Birthday meal."

We had a wonderful meal last night, we have visited before and will be visiting again. Food is amazing and staff very friendly. A real gem of a place and worth going now before someone poaches the great chef and his team.

it was our 33th anniversary and we booked the dome experience, the personal was so welcoming and attentive. the dome was fantastic eating among the stars, eating tasty I would highly recommend the mushroom starter and the steak perfectly cooked. we are coming back to judge and trisha

excellent Cretan/Greek food. the family is very friendly and make them very welcome. eating is excellent. great atmosphere and a great menu. had the lamb kleftiko and it was so delicious. will definitely visit this pub again. thanks yiannis and the team for a nice time. the raki really enjoyed. kristos.

amazing experience in one of the domes to the 50th birthday of my mannes last night. such a beautiful greeting with full lead to heating and music technology for our use. eating was amazing and they did not definitively sprinkled on the portion sizes! they wait the staff so attentive. all 3 generations of our family were very impressed. would definitely like to return to celebrate another special occasion. thanks!
