Absolutely fantastic I can only say that the food is wonderful, the staff were amazing and an over all fantastic atmosphere all round. Be warned take your appetite with you.

Amazing food and fast service, only downfall was dull lighting where we were sat, we were at the far end of the pub and didn't have enough lighting above us so it was quite dim. Overall a good meal

big country pub! the staff is great, eating is at home and comes in very generous portions and the flow is great. there are a few good local beers along with the usual suspects and a good selection of cocktail options if this does not float their boot.

Very nice pub! The gammon steak was perfectly cooked along with everything else. The staff were nice and their customer service skills were awesome. I will be back next time I travel to the Isle Of Wight. The view of the river from the pub is also nice. Ver carta

This pub has a really cool nautical theme. They offer a great selection of beers and apple wines, and there's plenty of space for private events, along with a large terrace for outdoor drinks. The food is moderately priced for a pub, and the portions are huge!

Absolutely fantastic dining experience! The location is ideal for festival-goers. I tried the fish and chips as well as the Jäger chicken with bacon, and both dishes were expertly prepared. It's also very convenient for participating in the Isle of Wight Festival, with just a 5-minute walk from the entrance.

We celebrated my birthday dinner while in Newport, and it was fantastic! My partner accidentally ordered the kirsch garlic bread and wobbly rings alongside our main courses, and we were both shocked at the portion sizes when our meals arrived. I didn't finish my main dish because I wanted to save room for dessert, which was also delightful! The service was quick, even with all the food we had. Ver carta
