Went here on 23rd and24th October.what a lovely place.upto now had four meals.very very nice. Going again tonight.looking forward to it.bass was very good too.

Last day glamping so treated ourselves to a pub meal, the food was beautiful... definitely reccomend, have safety in regards covid 19 in place. Staff also friendly will be coming again soon x

Nice traditional pub with ample off street parking.Theres a decent choice of well kept beers,and a good choice of food.The staff were friendly,helpful and efficient.The meals were very good and were served quickly.All in all a good experience.

A group of 15 of us were in the area for the weekend and came to the Black Horse Inn. Great priced food and drinks and a nice environment to have some drinks and play some games. The lady running the pub is really lovely and went out her way to make us feel welcome.

What a lovely place, very friendly hosts, very clean, smart well equipped bedroom. Excellent breakfast, nothing too much trouble. Would recommend 100%. Congratulations to a hard working family on running such a lovely pub and accommodation. Keep up the good work. Would not hesitate to...

Friendly staff welcomed us and gave us advice on the menu which was larger than I expected. We chose the lasagne and the pork burger. Both were excellent and very tasty. The chips were also the kind your mum used to make if you were lucky, chunky, fluffy on the inside and crisp outers. Even the coleslaw was homemade. They have a small but adequate wine choice and the ale is bass with a guest beet. It was blue monkey infinity and was kept nicely. We will happily return for another meal here.

Warm cosy welcoming pub track and trace on entry and then go through door to a pub with wooden beams and warm environment 2 ladies one behind bar and the other out front welcoming and professional Roast beef dinner ordered all food fresh produce and very tasty and cooked to high standard Kids had kids meal with ice cream included ate every bit of it. The food was average. I had steak ale pie, son had gammon and grandson had chicken burger. The service was in fact less than average. The service was slow. We had sat down for 15 minutes before anybody came to see us. The waitress said the right things whilst managing to look unimpressed with everything and this was conveyed towards us. We ordered mains and they took another 35 minutes. This was a Tuesday and not that busy so I suppose try were understaffed. I’m afraid we had tried several establishments and this was the only serving food so not a lot of choice around here.

The staff were very welcoming, polite and friendly; the environment, clean and inviting. We were shown to our table and given the menus, after having been served drinks.I chose the roast beef (well it was a Sunday , my wife had the Texan Chicken.My plate, when it came, was full of very tasty and well cooked meat and veg. The vegetables were cooked to perfection, lots of bite left, and well seasoned.
