Best roast dinner I’ve had in ages! Generous portion, beautifully cooked meat and veg. Friendly service. Would highly recommend.

Charming pub, friendly helpful staff lovely food. Can't go wrong. And they were hosting a beer festival on the day we went, in their garden. Also beautiful weather helped.

We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience at this restaurant. The food was fantastic, with each course exceeding our expectations. The service was top-notch, and we were pleased to find that the establishment is dog-friendly.

We stumbled upon this pub unexpectedly due to Ride London and multiple road closures in the vicinity. For starters, we ordered two salads and a portion of chunky chips. The portions were generous and the food quality was superb. The staff were delightful and we would definitely return to this pub in the future. Overall, we found it to be great value for money.

We have been coming to the Green Man since we were children in the 60s through it 's many owners. It has recently had new management did not disappoint. The new outside seating area is shaded tastefully done. The menu is not massive but caters for all tastes the specials sounded delicious. The staff were attentive but not in your face helpful. Came for another of their great beer festivals. We had the Sunday roast which is fabulous. One of the best roasts you can get in a pub. The burgers also went down a treat with my hubby and son. Friendly service, proper home cooked great quality food in a lovely environment. The garden is really good and there's a play area for kids. Definitely recommend coming here. Not had a bad experience ever.

I recently visited this restaurant under the new ownership and had a fantastic experience. I ordered a rare fillet steak with Diane sauce, tender stems, grilled cherry tomatoes, and potatoes. The steak was cooked perfectly and paired well with a glass of Merlot. For dessert, I indulged in their delicious vanilla and orange crème brûlée. The total cost for two including drinks was £96, and it was well worth it. I will definitely be returning in the future. Kudos to the staff and chef for a job well done.

After reading the reviews we were excited to visit Called to book for the next day for lunch. someone said they would call us back they did the next day at 12.30! Waitress efficient but not friendly. 2 roasts ordered, 1 fish and chips. Tradional roast but Roast potatoes have garlic!! When asking waitress why doesn't it state on menu that theyare garlic as I don't like garlic her response was to blame me for not asking if the roasties were garlic ones!! I replied I didn't think to ask as its a roast potato she then ranted saying they can't possibly write all the ingredients of each item on the menu, and again I should have asked that I didn't want garlic with my roast!!
