"I had a nice meal here on Friday night with my wife and my parents. the service was excellent as always. eating was top quality and perfectly cooked. I had bark meat short rib, which was really nice. I've been here for a few years and never had a bad meal. it is always a great place for a special meal. there are three different places to sit. the bar is a good place to sit. many people and a very lively atmosphere. the restaurant feels a little posh, but it still has a good mood. on the ground floor is a little quieter and more romantic if they want a more intimate meal."

I just fell in to get away from a shower. Crab rarebit and Avocado on Toast was delicious. Welcome. A cozy atmosphere and delicious looking cakes and pastries. Short distance from the Elm hill over the river walking. Only bad point was the wc, the new loo needed a proper and decorating.
