"Food: I ordered the fish and chips. The fish was nice and crispy but nothing special. The chips were similarly good but average. Service: The service here was abysmal. I have never been treated so rudely in my life. The place was nearly empty when I went for dinner. Despite that a young male server looked around the empty room, looked at me and then sat me in a hidden corner at a tiny table that was clearly not meant to be for customers. After about half an hour I eventually got up and asked a bartender if I could put an order in. She was confused because she had no idea I was there. She confronted the jerk that put me at that table for not telling her that he sat a customer, and for purposely putting me at a bad table for no reason. He started laughing and gloating that he could get away with what ever he wanted and that he didn't care about her feelings or his job at all before he walked away. She felt bad but still didn't do anything to improve the situation. I wonder if he is related to the owner because he clearly didn't want to work, or even be a good person. After all of this happened the service was still practically non existent and I still payed the full tab even though I was treated horribly. I will never go back here. Ambience: The pictures online look great but the reality looks run down and on the verge of a mold outbreak."

Staff are friendly and helpful, food was amazing. Very good mood, pet and children friendly. After Tummies has recently failed, we found our new favorite place and it is also closer to home... so we will return safely....

Just visited the red lion in Stoke poges had a great lunch I order the roast Salmon with a side of new potatoes and a glass of white wine light and healthy. The staff was friendly all ways with a smile and ready to help with any problems, the food looked fresh and my order came out fast i will be Shure to visit again soon.
