"One of the best country pubs I have been in. The menu was limited to about 6 choices, but were very different from the normal pub fare. We were a party of 4 and chose 3 different diners. All were excellent, extremely tasty cooked very skillfully and wonderfully presented. Well recommended. The outside space looked very nice and exciting too but unfortunately we didn't have time to experience it. We will definitely return, highly recommended."

We visited friends who recently purchased a home within walking distance of the pub where we enjoyed a delicious meal. Our server, who appeared to be only around 17 years old, was very knowledgeable and provided excellent service. We were very impressed and will definitely return!

This was highly recommended to us whilst on holiday. Our dogs were barked chased at by the local dog, which we understand sometimes happens, but then the dog kept coming over to our dogs while we were at our table. It would have been appreciated if their dog was behind the bar if it took such a dislike to ours until we had left. I had the lamb kitsu curry, which was awful, but the mussels and fish chips ate by others were delicious.
