Lovely place to eat and drink Great interior as well. What a transformation of once unwelcoming and tired pub.

The food was fantastic in particular the 'Royal Oak burger '. The Interior is a huge improvement staff very friendly. Great to have it on our doorstep. See you soon.

The beer here is excellent, and if you can catch the friendly bar manager for a moment, you're in for a good time. He's a great guy, always on the go and full of energy!

For our anniversary dinner, we had a wonderful experience. The service was friendly, and our table location was perfect. The portion sizes of the meals were generous and reasonably priced. The cozy atmosphere made it even better. We definitely recommend this restaurant! Ver carta

Visited for the first time last night since the new management took over and we loved it. I had the salmon which was delicious, partner had the burger which he thoroughly enjoyed. The staff are all very friendly and the atmosphere is welcoming and relaxed. Thank you for a beautiful meal we will definitely return very soon!

We just enjoyed a lovely meal at The Royal Oak with four adults and two children at 5:00 PM. There was no issue finding a place to sit. The young man at the bar welcomed us and served us throughout the evening, even though he was managing the bar by himself. He was patient with our individual requests and didn’t rush us. The food was delicious and plentiful. The atmosphere was relaxed and informal. We will definitely be back!

I didn’t make a reservation for dinner tonight, but we were warmly welcomed by a pleasant waitress named Morgan, who was incredibly helpful. She showed us to our table, and our drink and food orders were taken promptly. The meal was fantastic—honestly, the best fish and chips I’ve had in a long time. Unfortunately, my phone battery was dying. We were also attended to by Jack, who was equally friendly and always smiling. I highly recommend this place! Thank you for a lovely evening. x Ver carta
