"I have regularly attended the three oaks and still think it is the best restaurant in the local area. However in this instance there were a few issues; No provision of outdoor heating when paying circa £80 head for a meal I’m sure they could supply some sort of outdoor heating? Steak at £28 was not that impressive Tasty steak, but very small and high fat content/gristly nothing special and just accompanied with basic french fries, not their triple cooked Chips Partners main was a bit small Starter was nice but normal pub food Overall the experience wasn’t as good as in the past, menu a bit basic and when it is so expensive here, you expect them to raise the bar a little more? Staff and service excellent"

"Having read good reviews I visited here with my wife. We were seated quickly and given menus. Very quickly we were given pickles/dips on an assumption that we wanted popadoms….. which meant we felt awkward and we had to say yes and order some, when we didn’t really want them. After that it took a long time for our order to be taken, although the food came in good time. The food itself was very average. The curry sauces seemed ‘gloopy’ and the meat on the bone was poor quality, albeit tasty. Through the meal my wife and I struggled to hear each other, largely due to the general noise levels. It was a Saturday night so some of the guests were a bit loud, but to be fair, not rowdy. The problem is the acoustics of the restaurant. The staff were lovely through the whole meal and the prices were fine,"

"Parece que el pub tiene nuevos dueños, ya que estaba mucho más tranquilo que cuando estuvimos allí anteriormente. Los entrantes tardaron una eternidad en llegar, pero cuando lo hicieron fueron buenos. La comida principal fue decepcionante, con la carne en dos de las cuatro comidas dura y poco cocida. El gerente explicó que tenían un nuevo chef y redujeron la factura de bebidas, eliminó el costo de una botella de vino y algunas de las cervezas y eliminó uno de los platos principales de la factura. En general, fue una experiencia decepcionante, ya que esperábamos el alto nivel de comida y ambiente experimentado anteriormente."

"Excellent food. However, the short frog looking waiter was extremely racist. I went to dine at this restaurant last night with 4 friends. We are not from the area and had to travel over an hour to get to this restaurant. When we arrived, there...was no social distancing in place. The restaurant was cramped and it was rather busy with diners sitting very close to each other. The waiter took forever to serve us and we completely understood why due to short staffed. My friends and I were talking in our language. The waiter that served us were extremly polite and took our order. At the end of our meal, we asked another waiter for desserts. He said we were too busy talking in our language and then mimicked an impression of what we were sounding like. We didn't much notice and we didn't say much at this point. Then when the bill came, the waiter walked passed us mimicking how we were sounding like. Then one of friends asked him if he had an issue with us. He said he was singing. As this point the restaurant noise level went quiet. One old white man turned around and shouted why don't you go home We all know what this comment meant. In the end of all of this we were made to be the issue by both the restaurant staff and the public. I"

"The food and staff at this restaurant are incredible. They pay great attention to detail, making the experience truly impeccable. I highly recommend it, especially our waiter Miguel who was fantastic! This is the perfect place for a dinner out. The price per person is £100+ but worth every penny. The food, service, and atmosphere all receive top ratings. Don't miss out on trying the Tiramisu and Ribeye Sirloin, they come highly recommended."
