We dined at the Swan Hotel Restaurant whilst walking the Cotswold Way. Sea bass and roast lamb very good. Good service. Breakfast was great too.

Great place for lunch , didn’t need to book , maybe weekends are busier but very quiet in the week. Good choice on the lunch menu … Five in our party and all happy with the food

We had a lovely evening here for our party of 14. Excellent food, attentive staff and a beautiful setting all contributed to a great experience for us on the eve of our son's wedding. Highly recommended.

Visited on off-chance as staying in nearby area. Was given very friendly, warm welcome. The restaurant area had a very cosy ambience and service was good. Food was excellent, delicious and served hot. Would definitely recommend this place.

Food fine but the service poor. The dessert menu arrived and 20 minutes later we had to go and try to find a member of the restaurant staff. The intent was to have dessert but after so long waiting we were past it. Loss in revenue to the establishment which if I was the boss would not be very happy about.

We were expecting to eat in The Royal Oak but when we entered were told they’d stopped serving food some weeks ago and were changing hands. We therefore made an unplanned visit to The Swan hotel restaurant. We were very pleased that we did. The staff were dry welcoming from the start and offered us a table in the bar or the restaurant. We opted for a table in the restaurant which is recently refurbished. We were able to order from their winter offer menu available weekdays with starters £4,mains £10 and pudding £4. We enjoyed every one and the service was excellent. For value for money l would rate this as the best in Wotton-Under-Edge.

We have been to the recently refurbished Swan restaurant twice in the past 2 months, after our first meal we were very pleasantly surprised by the huge improvement in the menu choices and the quality of the food. On our second visit last night we were equally impressed. The decor is really nice….l would happily use it for a private function with the addition of tablecloths (that is just my own personal requirement for special occasions! . My fish and chips were just the best l have had for ages…batter not too heavy, fish moist, chips just brilliant. hubby had sea bass and loved it.
