Yet again, not disappointed, such a great meal. A pity I have to go back to Aberdeen Sunday, I would be here most Sundays for my lunch. Excellent.

can eat that and not recommend the personal enough when we visit my mother, my daughter always insists on going here for a meal. burgers are like the chips.

large traditional pub. very friendly and welcoming landlord/Lady. great eating and drinking after our 2 miles to shoot foot of clay pigeon. we will call again if we are back. Ver carta

we recently moved to the village. immersed with extended family for something to eat. very friendly, staff very friendly. from the way to the reception. appropriate prices large pieces. we all said we're going to be leaving. thank you! xxx

a comfortable place to stay. the eating was excellent, the huge chips a great guide to the Whitby Sampi and the full English breakfast a great start to the day. It was made that we felt welcome from the moment we went. many thanks to lee and his team x

Came here during a long walk. Dog friendly and staff are very welcoming. Had steak and ale pie. Huge!!! alongside with chips, veg, cauliflower cheese and tons of gravy. Veg not slushy, just perfect. Beef was tender. Meal was top!! very reasonable prices too. Waitress very attentive and even gave our dog some treats. Definitely would come again!! Thank you.

Belated thank you for hosting my daughters christening absolutely everyone who attended said how good the food was everything was perfect the outside space, the inside rooms, the fantastic food and the hosts, they couldn't have been anymore helpful, nothing was too much trouble and very reasonable on price I wouldn't hesitate to book again or recommend to anyone for all manner of functions thank you so much for making our day so special we'll be back soon for Sunday lunch xxx Ver carta
