First time in the Gnu since we moved to the village this year. I had fish and chips, beautifully cooked and fresh. My wife had scampi and my son had fish fingers kids meal. All fresh, hot and cooked perfectly. Landlord and staff are brilliant, down to earth and a great friendly atmosphere. We’ll be back. Highly recommended.

Came here during a long walk. Dog friendly and staff are very welcoming. Had steak and ale pie. Huge!!! alongside with chips, veg, cauliflower cheese and tons of gravy. Veg not slushy, just perfect. Beef was tender. Meal was top!! very reasonable prices too. Waitress very attentive and even gave our dog some treats. Definitely would come again!! Thank you.
