We had Sunday Lunch in the Walled Garden Restaurant. The food was delicious and the service excellent. We all had a different meal and everyone was really good. We’ll definitely be back. Ver carta

We visited. The walled garden for a try out because we’ve booked for all the family for Boxing Day , the food was really lovely , the staff were lovely and it felt very welcoming , so roll on Boxing Day for a family get together , we’ll also be back for more week day meals , a new find

We visited The Walled Garden for a mid week dinner and thoroughly enjoyed it. We sat in the 'summer house ' overlooking the very interesting gardens and had two courses: steak and burger, brownie and an intriguing Manchester Tart just don 't expect anything like the traditional version! Highly recommended.

We ordered the lamb main course for £24!! but it turned out to be a small starter size serving, 2 small potatoes, 2 small pieces of lamb and some peas. Nothing like the photos we have seen on review sites. The dessert portions were also small and one was frozen solid and had to be returned. The dish sizes are what you would get on a 7-course taster menu rather than a lunch time meal. Ver carta

Amazing service along with delicious food! We went as a family of 6 and were soooo impressed. Jossip and his team were attentive from the second we arrived and we felt very comfortable and welcome. The food was outstanding! From starter through to dessert, every mouthful was delicious! Prawns, scallops, wings, lamb (x4!! and desserts, all to die for!!! Have not been here four years but will DEFINITELY be going again soon.

Had a fab birthday celebration, just myself and friend, at the Walled Garden, Barton . Jithin, the main waiter, was very helpful and respectful of our wishes. We had a 2 course Sunday lunch beef and fruit crumble, whikst being accompanied by live soft chart music. The beef was so tasty, vegetables were 'al dente ' and the gravy was 'out of this world '! You will love the crunchy crumble topping too! For my friend 's birthday, the young singer/ guitarist played Happy Birthday, and the chef had iced a special dessert plate for her, who, afterwards, said it felt like the most special birthday so far! We went for a lovely meal on Friday evening and ended up going again on Sunday to try out to try out the Sunday lunch menu so I’m going to tell you about both. Friday evening we ordered off the new menu, we had scallops prawns they were both delicious, then all 3 of us had the cod dish from the mains, it was absolutely beautiful fresh fish, could eat it again just thinking about it. They had a live singer singing background music too which was a really lovely touch. The service was fantastic, Josip (the manager) and Samantha were both not only lovely welcoming but both fantastic at their job. So good we booked to go again with my parents on Sunday.
